Jane is the best! I adore her so much! She has helped me and my blue heeler pup, Lucy so so much! We've all been through something no one expected to go through, a pandemic. With a pandemic comes along many unique circumstances, including less socialization and exposure for the youngest of the crowds, like babies and puppies. Lucy is amazing and I love her to pieces, but because of our unique circumstances due to the pandemic, she became scared of the world around her when she hit her second fear period. When I reached out to Jane she was nothing but a sweet and helpful hand, as she always has been, and has helped me through the challenges Lucy and I have encountered. Jane taught me techniques to use to both help keep her brain moving and to STOP me from doing things like holding my breath when I saw a person just doing people things pass us. My pup and I have made SO much progress and I am so unbelievably happy that Jane is major factor to the happy lives that me and Lucy are aiming towards. Lucy and I have more we want to work on and I know I can always reach out to Jane with comments and questions on how I can broaden my tool box, which is amazing!! Please, if you are ever looking for a dog trainer and you happen to be thinking about inquiring with Jane about your pup or pups needs, PLEASE do! I am about 7 weeks out from the training sessions Luna & I did with Jane for recall. I cannot even express how amazing things are going. Jane taught me how important is was to start with the basics and build a solid foundation in order to have a dog with great recall. Each step of the way, she was there to teach us the next right thing to practice. We are still working on it & I can hike with her off leash and take her splitboarding already! The skills Jane taught us have been invaluable. I am so proud of how well Luna is doing and completely have Jane to thank!

I'm so glad I found Jane. I came to her with my 1.5 year old border collie to work on leash etiquette, reactive behaviors, recall, and general obedience. Jane was such a joy to work with and an excellent trainer. Her training methods are gentle and effective. She is caring and creates a supportive environment for learning. It's obvious she really understands dog behavior. She gave us specific exercises to work on and made the trainings manageable each week. If I had questions between sessions, Jane was willing to chat on the phone to troubleshoot. After 5 weeks working together, I could see a difference in my dog's behavior and felt that we established a deeper connection. I would recommend Jane to anyone who has a dog!

We could not recommend Jane enough!!! We are so thankful for this experience and everything Jane taught our dog AND my husband and I. Jane is incredible! She helped us find improved ways to communicate with and work with our dog. With her help, we are better at understanding what our dog needs and even the kids have been on board with how they interact with our dog in order to make things more cohesive and positive for all of us. Jane is fantastic at explaining WHY we are doing what we are doing, how the dog interprets us (body language, words, tone, etc), and over just 5 sessions, we have seen a truly amazing improvement. Jane has been a wonderful trainer for our dog. She helped us with our young puppy from shortly after getting him at ten weeks into his adolescence. Importantly she helped us as new dog parents learn how to most effectively guide a dog and understand their behaviors. Our dog is now regularly complimented on how well behaved he is, despite being only six months old. In addition Jane is very organized and punctual. We are very thankful to have worked with Jane, and would highly recommend her to family and friends!

I rescued a puppy and she had no manners or structure, and I knew I needed help training her. I found Love your Dog, and reached out to Jane. She helped me so much understand my puppy’s patterns, needs, and helped guide me through the training process. My puppy was very difficult, but she was there through the whole thing. Jane was very kind, patient, and understanding to both me and my dog. I’m very happy with her services and will be using them again in the future!
