Both my wife and I had to go out of town recently for work and rather than boarding our dog for an extended time we decided to look for someone/somewhere he could go to brush up on some training and learn some new skills.

I found LoFi Dog Training on Yelp, and they already had great reviews, so we decided to give them a try. We just picked up our pup, today and we are so pleased with the results!

Allen is the BEST! From the point of contact with him till we picked up our dog he was great. He is very down to earth and respectful and listens when it comes to what you are hoping to get out of the training.

Allen truly cares about your dog and their needs. We expressed to him that we wanted our dog to improve his leash walking skills, and after seeing him today he is a new dog!

Throughout the board and train Allen and his team, are giving you video updates about what they are working on with your dog and why.

It was great to see that our dog was so comfortable with Allen and his team. He always lets you know how your dog is doing if anything were to happen.

I highly recommend Allen and his team if you are in the LA area!

We can't say enough good things about, Allen at LoFi Dog training. Most of the dog trainers in our area were too militant and heavy on obedience/little love or not enough reinforcement, firm boundaries. Allen is the perfect balance of both, firm with love and patience sprinkled in. It's clear he was born to do this!

Our Irishdoodle, Frankie has a severe case of separation anxiety and reactivity to people and other dogs. Allen was able to create a board and train program to address our top behavioral concerns. We opted for a 3-week program which we feel was fairly priced and convenient to where we live, Studio City. He provided daily check-ins in the form of pictures and videos to ensure we were part of the journey while we were away from our pup.

If you're looking for a dog trainer, please look no further. I can't imagine anyone not being completely satisfied with the services he provides. We've seen massive improvements in Frankie and understand, we still have a lot of work ahead of us. As dog owners, we feel more educated and understand how we were conditioning our dog in ways that fed the naughty behaviors.

I recently utilized Allen's board and train services at Lofi Dog Training for my Rottweiler, Honey, who had anxiety and reactivity issues due to some unfortunate incidents when she was younger. I was immediately impressed with Allen's ability to form a bond with Honey, which made me feel comfortable and entrusting in him as her trainer.

I cannot recommend Allen enough to anyone who is struggling with their dog's behavior. He is not only an exceptional trainer, but he also has a genuine passion for helping dogs and their owners. Brought my dog Bendrick here, and all I can say is wow! He’s a totally different dog. Upon meeting Allen for the first time, I was a bit nervous, he gave me high expectations for how my dog would turn out, and it sort of seem hard to be true. Allen is a miracle worker. He is honest, passionate, and gifted beyond words. I had a highly reactive Mudi and paid top dollar for a 3-week board+train with a reputable kennel to help with his reactivity. All I got back was a dog that kind of walked on a leash. With Allen, he understood within minutes what my dog needed. He had various plans of action to reinforce the best course for my dog’s rehabilitation. I got daily videos and updates, coaching on how to handle my dog, and open and responsive communication. In 19 days, my sweet boy is now OFF LEASH, playing with other dogs, has reliable recall and obedience, and was actually helping other dogs with their own training progress. Allen transformed a once scared, anxious, rabid dog to a happy, thriving animal. I wish I had known him sooner. Allen is simply the best and he will deliver without fail. I started bringing my pup to Allen when he was really young to train him. I swear my dog came back a new pup. Not only does Allen care for each dog he takes on, but trains the owner as well.
