I took my German Shepherd puppy to train with Lisa in her group class last year. I was impressed by her approach to beginning obedience sessions. My reason was not only to train my young dog, but to also socialize her around other puppies and strangers. Given how challenging it’s been with the pandemic, her class was perfect for basic obedience training. Although my puppy was fearful and somewhat reactive, Lisa was gentle yet consistent with her lessons. Her feedback was honest and direct. We were also given lessons to practice at home. From Lisa’s training I was able to continue in other obedience classes and sports with confidence as my dog matured. I would highly recommend Lisa for training classes!

I inherited my dog Jojo (a crazy pug )after my brother passed away from cancer. Jojo was alot to deal with. Peeing in the house, barking, and chewing everything. I thought I was going to have to find him another home which really saddened me because my brother would have wanted him to be taken care of. I tried a trainer in Vallejo who did mostly E collars but his behavior didn't improve. I called around and another trainer thought Lisa would be a good fit. He was right. Jojo did 9 months of training and his behavior dramatically improved. Hes still pretty high energy but I feel confident that I can keep him. Lisa can be though but she is great and I'd recommend her to anyone.

Lisa is hands down the best trainer I could ever ask for. She has taken my rambunctious miniature pinscher in since he was a very young pup and helped me grow him.

What I like most is she teaches the owners to take responsibility of their own relationships by teaching the owners how to train and not solely focused on her teaching the dogs.

My Huey loves Lisa! And so does all her students!

My family adopted our dog Root Beer and immediately started him in training. Lisa truly is an angel sent from heaven! She is knowledgeable, and cares about dogs. Lisa has a strong and confident personality and will make sure you have the tools and training for your dog to be successful. We will forever be grateful to her and will continue to take her classes.
Lisa is a trainer who cares about you and your dog and you will not find anybody who is more passionate.
Please remember Lisa’s gives you as the owner all the training and tools, but it is up to you to continue training at home to see progress.
Our dog Root Beer couldn’t even be around other dogs and people and now he can!!

Lisa is an amazing trainer, I love her approach with creating a communication path for you and your dog, it all seems so simple but so efficient, no more yelling! . We went with our rescue adult Dogo who is very stubborn. Lisa showed me how to communicate with our dog, her feedback is direct and honest and if you listen and practice, you will see amazing and fast results. The benefit of the group is that you get to see her show the commands multiple times with different dogs, all of them reacting differently. Her first session around nutrition, crate training, potty training is so eye opening, and informative, I have referred to it many times since. Lisa will answer texts, calls and will do anything to get you and your dog on a successful path. And if you are lucky enough to see her with her dogs, you will see the art of the possible!

I can't say enough good things about Lisa! When we adopted our husky rescue, we quickly realized that he had some serious behavior issues that we didn't know how to address. We were at our wits' end and considering rehoming him, until we found Lisa. From the very first class, she put us at ease and gave us the tools we needed to work with our dog.

Over the course of four progressive training programs, Lisa helped us train our dog and improve his behavior in ways we never thought possible. Her approach is firm but gentle, and she clearly knows what she's doing. Thanks to Lisa, we are now much more confident and educated dog owners, and our dog is a completely different animal. He's well-behaved, obedient, and a joy to be around.

We're are now gearing up to take the good canine citizen test! I have no doubt that our pup will pass with flying colors. I would recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a dog trainer - she's simply the best!

My two Olde English Bulldogge's (Mugzy and Knuckles) participated in Lisa's classes over the last year. We started with puppy class when they were just about 6 months old through the advanced class that just finished. I have to say most of the training was actually for me....to learn how to work with the dogs to get them to respond in the manner I want. Lisa's knowledge about training and her methods were just what we needed to get moving in the right direction. I highly recommend reaching out to Lisa if you have training needs!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...I started in the puppy class with Lisa with my 5 month old American Bully. This dog is unlike any other that I have ever had, very headstong and dog reactive and myself not confident at all. I was able to barely make it through puppy class as I was very tense the entire time and I knew we both needed much more training. On the first day of Intermediate class, I was so overwhelmed that I was ready to quit as soon as I walked in the door and broke into tears. Lisa realized how over my head I was and she could see potential in my guy and really took a lot of her time with us, she even called and checked in with me after class and really talked me off a ledge. Lisa offered us private classes that I could do take with just us, so that I could get caught up on what we couldn't catch in class (for a very affordable price). I am happy to report that we have just graduated from the Intermediate class and are moving on to Advanced training. I wish we could stay with Lisa forever! I am so much more relaxed and confident and my boy is getting there too.
