I did not have a good experience with Lilos. Scheduling was super easy and they were able to come almost right away. However, when the first groomer completed my appointment, he left my dog’s ponytails in. This caused serious matting and tangling. It hurt her when I removed it. When I called back, I was told on several occasions that I would receive a call back and the didn’t call back. After four attempts, I finally spoke with a manager. The manager didn’t take accountability and didn’t seem to care at all. All of the groomers except one didn’t speak any English. After breaking my trust due to the experience, I wanted a refund, but found out that I could not receive a refund, and I would either have to lose the money that I paid or allow them to cut my babies hair again. The lady that arrived was very nice and she did an ok job. Both times the haircut was choppy and just didn’t look very professional. I can’t say that I would recommend this company.

The groom went great. They were patient with him even when he was having bouts of stress diarrhea. They called me to come check on him and I took him for a quick walk in my yard to poop and after that they were able to complete the groom.

Edit to add- It took Oscar 2 1/2 - 3 hours tops to get both my dogs done. My previous groomer would always complain that my dogs were matted and would always say that’s why she had to shave them. I brush their coats regularly and bathe them every 1-2 weeks to asure there is no matting. Oscar took the time to feel through their coats and didn’t once complain of any matting on them. Not all groomers are good with doodles and Oscar did a fantastic job. Loved the convenience of having them come to my home as well instead of having to drop of my pets and wait all day for them to be ready. Fantastic work.

On Tuesday, 12/17/24, I booked grooming appointments for two of my dogs at Lilo’s as a first time client. I am pretty sure the groomer hit or choked my senior dog. Not the one in the picture, but my English bulldog mix. He has an underbite so he looks like he’s showing teeth, but he isn’t, just malocclusion. I say this because it brings relevance to how I feel. As soon as I approached the truck, the groomer asked if my dog needed a muzzle. I explained no, only for nail trim, but even then, I’m a trained tech and didn’t mind helping him. (The question made me feel he was already afraid of my dog before even interacting with him.) The groomer said ok, and I proceeded to put my 93# dog in the truck, no help from the man standing next to me. Their trucks should also be equipped with ramps for these situations as a mobile groomer, but hey, what do I know. After the grooming, my dog was in a panic when he came inside (I have ring camera footage of this entire day as well as cameras in the house) and afraid to come out of the room. It took him forever to calm down. My dogs tongue was blue/cyanotic when he initially came inside. I really tried to let this go, which is why it took me so long to write this review. But I know animals, been in the veterinary industry for 17 years, currently working at an animal emergency room. I also know my animals, I’ve had that dog since he was 10weeks and he’s 12yrs old now. I specifically told the groomer to let me know if he needed help and he chose to be mean to my pet. He never and you all never have to admit it, but he knows what he did and I want him to know I know what he did. I didn’t confront him at the time as he is a bigger man with tattoos everywhere and my husband wasn’t home. I still haven’t told my husband. He wouldn’t just leave a review. Also, $269, yes you read that right! A light bill, car note, or insurance payment for something I should’ve and could’ve done at home. He was still wet, not blowed out like I asked, but more than likely paid for, and his ears were dirty. My other dog’s haircut was choppy compared to how my usual groomer makes him look, the pic with the bandana is from my usual groomer, the photo of me holding my dog is the same day he was groomed by Lilo’s. He didn’t even look happy with his cut like he usually does. Photos attached. I WILL never use this place again. Not worth the money. Inexperienced people mishandling family members. And to double down, my dog had his teeth cleaned on 12/18/24 and the nurses said he was phenomenal! For blood draws, catheter placements and everything! Shame on you Lilo’s!!!
