Life of Riley has been wonderful for my pup’s grooming! We tried a few places prior and this is the only place my dog has felt comfortable. Shonte does a fabulous job and really takes note of all preferences - the last time when I needed a quick touch up for something I didn’t communicate well, she spent extra time with my dog and brought him to the back to make changes not once, but twice. Their patience and expertise is unmatched!

Take great care of our Chewy and he always gets a wonderful cut here. The business is clean and spa-like which is cute and nice. Our only complaint is that they aren’t good at calling or letting you know when your dog is finished. I’ve had to call each time to ask if our dog is finished and every time, he’s been done and sitting there for over an hour.

Gabriel, my golden retriever, has been going to Life or Riley in Adams Morgan for over a year now and I cannot recommend it more. He is always excited for his appointment and the staff always greet him with such enthusiasm, and I just know that he will be well cared for. They do a wonderful job grooming him and he is always so handsome with his brand new bandana! Even the cat approves!

Autumn did such a fantastic job grooming Frederick! He came out looking ridiculously good looking. His cut was perfect. Autumn very expertly removed some very stubborn tear stained matted fur around his eyes. 10/10 I’ll be back! Thank you Autumn!

We took our miniature poodle here for his first cut. The groomer, Shonte, did an awesome job and also gave us tips and tricks on how to get him acclimated to being groomed. She was very knowledgeable, also giving us instructions on how to keep his coat healthy as he grows. We’ll definitely be going back!

The women who work here are absolutely wonderful! My 70 pound dog was treated with so much care, we will be back! The prices for their services are very reasonable and worth it! My pup has never looked (or smelled) better!
