We boarded our 6 mo year old pup here for a weekend trip, and also use LAK9 for daycare 1x week when my husband and I go into the office.

The team is incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful, and has great communication skills. They provide photo/video updates via IG, which was reassuring when I first brought our pup here and wanted to know how he was doing.

I also feel confident about the daily structure with a mix of chill and play time — which was consistent with the crate and free time we do at home for our puppy.

Our pup always leaves happy and tired, which is everything we could ask for. I couldn't recommend LA K9 enough!

LAK9 is the BEST! It has everything you may need in 1 location: daycare, boarding, training and grooming. Not to mention an incredible staff- hat tip to Dave and Colleen. I first went to lak9 for training. They helped my dog in so many ways and continue to be a resource. I know when I send my dog here he is safe and well taken care of.

This is by far the best boarding and day care in LA. We have a sweet standard schnauzer who is a bit anti social, but he always enjoys his time when he’s there. I love that they also post the pups to their story so you can see updates throughout the day!

If you’re looking for a place you feel secure and comfortable to leave your baby this is the one. They also answer your questions if you have any while your baby is being boarded.

I have used LAK9S for the past three years... They are great...My dog, Penny, just loves her time there. The staff is very considerate about all their dogs and always make sure the dogs are treated well.
I recommend them to any one who wants day care or extended boarding.....

I have been boarding my two dogs with LAK9s since Dave and Colleen were running this out of their home in Venice! After trying one or two facilities early on (my dogs are both 8 now) I was introduced to LAK9s and immediately noticed a difference between how they look after the dogs versus many of the other larger facilities. It is clear that every employee at LAK9s loves dogs and even when I am meeting an employee for the first time, they already know my dogs names and are excited to see them. The feeling is clearly mutual as my dogs will happily rip the leash from my hands and run into the facility like kids entering a fun day camp. Whether my dogs are boarding for one day or for 2-3 weeks I always get them back happy and healthy. I've never had to worry and the piece of mind makes traveling much easier. I couldn't recommend LAK9s more strongly and have already sent several of my friends here who have now become happy customers themselves.

Our German shepherd LOVES LAK9s! For daycare, the staff socializes the dogs in groups, providing them with downtime so they don’t get overstimulated or too exhausted. They provide adorable updates via Instagram, but also communicate any updates via text or email as well.

We know that she’s in good hands when we go out of town and board her at LAK9s. The staff is amazing and care so much about the dogs.

Colleen is the best dog trainer and after many failed attempts with other trainers she expertly helped us with leash reactivity and we are so happy with the results!
