I had a terrible experience with Kriser’s grooming services, specifically regarding their scheduling and professionalism. Booking an appointment was a nightmare—we made the appointment in person, and I clearly told them 10 or 10:30, likely closer to 10:30. They insisted on scheduling it for 10, saying we could drop off anytime around then. That morning, we received a call at 10 with a rude tone, saying we were late.

The staff seemed completely disorganized. They didn’t ask for vaccine records during booking or the call but demanded them at drop-off. When I explained that I couldn’t pull up the records immediately and asked if the vet could email them, they were completely unaccommodating.

To make matters worse, when I addressed my concerns with the manager, she was extremely rude and dismissive, essentially telling me to go somewhere else. This lack of professionalism and respect is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning and cannot recommend their services to anyone.

I’ve been a customer for 3-4 years. So I’m not sure if they had a change in employees but ABSOLUTELY would not recommend.

They were easily able to fix my dogs paw & nails after somewhere else messed them up and didn't listen to instructions. It was his first haircut since I rescued him, he is traumatized by his fur being long so I had to get it cut because he kept trying to yank, pull and bite it out. He still had mats in his paws from when he was rescued, they didn't get them out and I had no idea because of how his fur was on his paws. He's even more happier now and isn't licking the bottom of his paws anymore. He'll be coming here for now on. He's a rescue, so still gets nervous and needs someone who understands him. Nobody knows his story on why he's so weird about certain things like his paws. We tried the CBD with melatonin, which he fights until I'm asleep but it still calms him down a little. He has started sleeping through the night better, and not waking to bark at other dogs, noises outside and at something he's not too used to. As his body adjusts im sure they will help even more. He looks forward to the treat every night, at first he was skeptical and took a few minutes to eat it. Once he realized that he liked it, he's been asking for one every night. He knows exactly where they're and will just stare at them patiently. I'll be trying another one a different time that will be a little more helpful during the day, especially if he knows I'm not feeling well. He doesn't like others waking me 🤣, and will get mad. He's a good guard dog but can be a little dramatic lol. He still gets extremely anxious so I'm hoping that will help, especially because he wants more dog friends but his bark is loud for how small he's and uneducated people think he's being aggressive when he's just wanting to say hi. Him & his friends will literally have barking contest at random times of the day and that's the bark he uses, which is the same when playing. Even with me, he's just loud. We'll be back soon where he'll have a much better haircutting experience.

He came back for his 2nd haircut Sunday & not only was Sydney amazing, he did great too. He loves his new look & has gotten so many comments. He still smells great 4 days later! He definitely feels better with his fur shorter & is still a ladies man. The Mohawk did not disappoint! People can actually tell he's a boy now 🤣. I think at times he honestly looks like a dinosaur 🦕. Which I love as well!

I love this place. Been coming here since it opened and the staff never fails to live up to the best standards of customer service. Plus if you can’t make it to this store, their online deliveries are freaky fast, I’ve gotten an order within 2 hours.

Yesterday popped in because my cat’s Bday is approaching. I wanted to get one of those cute decorated bakery treats, but turns out they are for dogs. I went for something else instead but the attendant surprised me with an extra catnip sample goody. Super sweet. Thanks!

Lots of turnover and because of that the quality of the grooms are hit and miss .Had a horrible experience with my dog being very traumatized at that location in 2019. she had been getting groomed since she was a puppy at a groomer I had before I move to Denver and I never had a problem until that incident. now she absolutely is terrified of going to the groomer. when I picked her up she was sick for a week had diarrhea and vomiting she was perfectly fine when I brought her in so I believe she was mishandled I'm possibly abused by a stressed out groomer probably due to them overbooking. I never brought her back but then After moving back to lodo after a few years of living in another area I went in to talk to the manager about my former experience. Chris assured me it was New Management new staff and I would never have to worry that my dog would be mistreated again. Looking at the website now and reading Chris's comment that he's been there since 2007 I now realize he lied to me and he was the manager that was there in 2019. anyway, with his assurance I decided to give Krisers another try but only get Express groom. my last experience I arranged for my daughter to bring her in since I had a work conflict it was supposed to be an Express groom as usual even though I was told to bring her in the afternoon I told the receptionist on the phone at the time that was odd Express grooms were typically first thing in the morning but she talked to the groomer herself and she assured me she would make the afternoon work and my dog would not have to wait. when my daughter arrived she was told the groomer was finishing up with one dog and then there were five dogs ahead of her. My daughter called me and I got on the phone with groomer who told me if I have been told she could do an Express at that time that was a misunderstanding. which was an absolutely not the case. That's what made me the most angry becase at the time I made the appointment I made it very clear I would never do anything other than Express after what had happened. I was upset about the whole situation especially her pointing the finger at meand would want to speak to the manager who wasn't there at the time. The next time I brought her in the manager Chris informed me after the groom they would not be doing my dog anymore because she was too aggressive. He also told me that he had notes in his system they had had problems with me and my dog before which wa I had never made a complaint other than the time I first brought her back in and told Chris about her horrible experience when she had been traumatized so badly. He flat out lied about having problems with me and my dog. I have been bringing her in for several years and Even when her cuts were not very good I never complained as long as the cut was decent my main concern was my dog not be mistreated or mishandled. I always tipped the groomer very well often tipping on the credit card and giving them cash and I had good rapport with them.several of them before leaving Krisers to work elsewhere gave me their phone numbers and said they would be glad to keep grooming her if I wanted to go to where they were going but because of the location I didn't want to take her elsewhere. Chris is often rude and arrogant and if he shows the same attitude to his groomers it's no wonder he can't keep staff there for any length of time. Perhaps if he showed more regard and respect for his staff and customers, he would happier with his job because he sure does not give the appearance that he enjoys what he does.

Moved into a building and been going here to get my dogs food. Until today when I pulled two meals I’ve been getting from a box that are sold individually in every other pet store I’ve been to, and got attitude from the cashier who told me that those are only sold by the box and that I wasn’t supposed to pull them out. Getting attitude for trying to purchase from a store is crazy work. So I went home and bought the box of food online. Shop online - It’s cheaper and comes without the attitude. 🙂
