Alex & John did such a great job taking care of my baby with a nice teddy bear cut and smelling great! She was so happy with them too! We were customers before they took over and am glad that Alex & John are able to provide great service to our cavapoo! Thank you!

Let me start with a positive, Alex and John are very good dog groomers, I have never disliked the way my dog has come to me. However, I have received the most disrespectful customer service by them, mainly whoever is in charge of answering the phone and notifying owners when their animals are ready to be picked up. I have been taking my dog here for 4 years and absolutely loved it but Alex and John have ruined this business. Let me preface. My dog is old, and sometimes he is grumpy with his ears and nails. I was very upfront about this and told them if he won’t let you do it then simply don’t do it and I will take care of it. However, I dropped my dog off at 11am, online says 180 minutes so at 2:00pm I was expecting to receive a text, no text. 3:00 pm no text. 4:00 pm still no text. So I drive there and I sit in the parking lot and call them, no answer (mind you I am looking into the salon and watch him purposely not answer my call). Minutes later I received a text saying he was not ready because of them having their water shutoff and they were behind schedule. So I reply and ask when they thought they would be done (because it’s almost 5pm and we all know magnolia traffic lately). I was met with a very rude reply that he would be done at 5:30pm and the suggestion if I need him done at a specific time then I should look into mobile grooming since he was difficult to work with. My dog is a 12lb shih tzu and your job is working with dogs, not all of them are going to stand perfectly still, let alone, after he had already been for five hours with no bathroom, water, or food. I then told him that I would be there at 5:30 and I pay him $100 to groom my animal with the expectation that he won’t have everything done to him that he’s supposed too (once again he is old and grumpy sometimes) but I still pay full price and never complain. And, even after them taking 6 /12 hrs to groom my dog (longest it’s ever taken is 2 1/2) and being rude I still payed full price without complaint. (I. Just. Wanted. My. Dog. Back. Safe.) Once again, they do a great groom but this was my breaking point and we will never be returning and I urge everyone to not as well.

I took our Golden Retriever in to be groomed this morning and everyone was so nice! After looking for a great groomer for the past year, Ken’s K-9s will be our go to for our pups! Our boy was very happy about his haircut🐶🧡🍊

They did not do as I had asked unfortunately. Just a bad job. According to the Owner they sold the business and will no longer be there end of this month April 2024. No incentive to make me happy or follow instructions. Had I known I would not have brought them here.

My reply: I told you I was growing the top knot and not to make the top knot round. You went ahead and trimmed it and made it round. You had sold your business and wasn’t concerned about making me happy. You have a nice day and hope you put some pride in your future endeavors.

Unbelievable customer service! Pure professionals and very helpful and knowledgeable. My golden doodle and her brother were a little past grooming standards. As a doodle owner I know it’s hard to keep up with brushing. Kenidee was able to get us in the next week to get both the dogs done. I knew they would be cut short but she and Ashley made them look adorable. Both ladies helped me out on questions on maintenance and future grooming appointments. Thank you I will recommend and return.

I took our malamute/husky, Teddy, to Ken’s K-9’s today for a self-wash and had the best experience! The owner was warm and welcoming and I felt comfortable there right away! Everything was provided for us and was so very nice and clean! I spent a full hour there washing and blowing our very furry dog. I can’t recommend them enough! We will be long-time customers!
