I have taken my dogs to Kanosak for training for three years and counting; they are exceptional! I have taken both group classes and private lessons at Kanosak Canine Training with multiple dogs for over 8 years. The trainers are very experienced, patient and are well versed in methods of positive reinforcement and also in addressing undesired behaviors and explaining why/how the behavior has been serving the dog, and how to change the behavior.
They have a vast array of classes: puppy kindergarten and advanced puppy, beginning obedience, Canine Good Citizen, rally multiple levels of obedience, utility and more. As I have trained over time, people have become like family and everyone is supportive and encouraging of each other. I can't recommend Kanosak enough to someone who is looking for a quality facility with amazing trainers and a welcoming environment for both those with a new puppy/dog and new to training or those who are seasoned and looking for the camaraderie of other dog lovers.

I searched many training centers before finding Kanosak training center and I'm very happy that I chose them for helping me
train my boxer. I've been taking my 2 year old boxer since he was 8 weeks old and he is turning into a great dog. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable in regards to your type of breed dog, they have worked with me on techniques reducing typical boxer behavior. There is so much support, encouragement and comradery from instructors and other participants. I truly feel they want me and my dog to excel.

I've been taking my Bernese Mountain dogs to training classes here for the last 3 years. We have taken a variety of classes, from beginner puppy, trick dog, CGC and obedience class. All the trainers: Ronnie, Cathy, Nancy, and Dot are knowledgeable and wonderful with the dogs! Without there expertise, I would not have many of the titles my girls have earned!

I first trained at Kanosak with a problem Giant Schnauzer in 1996. He went on to become a Therapy Dog and earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen Dog title and AKC Companion Dog titles. He became a loved member of our family for 11 years. Since that time I have trained another Giant Schnauzer and 3 Golden Retrievers. These dogs have earned many different titles ranging from Trick Dog, Therapy Dog, Rally Dog titles, Obedience Champion, Agility Champion and Obedience titles to International titles. I am currently working with several trainers at Kanosak; Ronnie Bizer, Cathy Fleury, and Nancy Youngen with my 7 year old and 18 month old Golden Retrievers. These women are excellent trainers and have a broad range of training experiences that make training fun and interesting for both you and your dog. The classes and people training are friendly and very welcoming and supportive and encouraging to everyone of all ages and abilities.

The instructors are highly knowledgeable and genuinely care to see their students succeed. I have the great fortune of training two dogs at Kanosak.
