Christine is an amazing trainer! Great eye for corrections/adjustments the owners need to make for their dogs! Uses positive reinforcement only! Very responsive to texts and calls. I highly recommend her if you want to train a therapy dog, service dog, or an emotional support animal! My dog has done so well in her class and is going to be adaptable in a variety of settings! You get one on one training while in a group setting. Every dog has their own needs in class and she attends to all of them! Price is highly reasonable!

I adopted Mr. Leo in December of 2020 and began working with Christine in January of 2021. She was recommended to me by Leo's veterinarian as a wonderful positive reinforcement trainer. I purchased a $1000+ training package and Christine was amazing throughout the training process. We started with basic commands and learning to play and progressed through public work to private public lessons. She is always available when I reach out with a question. Most importantly, Christine truly loves dogs (and Leo loves her!) and is always patient and encouraging. I highly recommend Christine and plan to continue working with her.

So blessed to have found Christine Kelly to train our young pup! We had a bad experience with another training facility prior and we were about to give up when we found Christine! It’s been five months now that we’ve been with K9 to 5 and Ruby has shown excellent progress. Christine’s training sessions are fun for the animals and yet instructive. I found Christine while looking for a trainer to work with who could train my Newfoundland Puppy and myself toward becoming a therapy working dog team. We started training when Boomer was 7 months old. First to pass the Canine Good Citizen CGC test then to pass the Therapy Dog test. Boomer went from 70lbs to 150lbs so good solid training was necessary to control a big strong dog.
Christine’s positive reinforcement clicker training was just what Boomer and I needed. Boomer thrived under her training techniques and now is a very busy therapy dog in the area at 3 years old servicing several hospitals and schools.

I like learning from Christine whether it’s at her facility or in a public work class out in the community. Classes are set up so that dog and owner teams of various levels can work together and learn something. I also really like that she incorporates puppy play for the first 30 minutes of puppy classes. The whole program is positive reinforcement based and my dogs really enjoy going to class at K9 to 5.

Absolutely the best dog trainer in town! Christine is knowledgable, professional, and personal. She patiently works with each dog/owner team and meets them where they are. We have learned and grown so much working with her in all areas -- basic obedience, dog therapy training, and tricks. I can't recommend her enough!

There is no doubt Christine loves dogs and she is very patient but these classes are chaos. There is no structure within the class and explanation or help/homework was lacking for my daughter. The online forms you use to sign up do not give some of the locations and when we went to the wrong location because she changed it we were basically told it was our fault as we were supposed to know. The prices were also more than other trainers. I suggest you find a different trainer or at least audit a class before you commit to any package. The classes we took were for older dogs not the puppy training which i see the reviews are better for.
