I can’t say enough good things about this K9 clipper in Long Beach!

Booking was so easy and convenient! I was able to schedule an appointment the same day right through their website, and I really appreciated that all the pricing was listed clearly online.

When we arrived, the groomers were incredibly friendly and caring. My pup was very matted and I was a little nervous about how he’d look after, but they did such an amazing job! He came out looking (and smelling) absolutely fantastic like a whole new dog. You can tell they truly care about the dogs they work with, and they took their time to make sure he was comfortable throughout the grooming process.

I’m beyond impressed and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to any pet parent in Long Beach and surrounding areas looking for a reliable, kind, and skilled groomer!

Ok the first pic is when we got her. The 3 pic we took her ASAP to K9. The second pic is after the original color was on her finally came off. And the second pic is K9. But it was still some pink on ear and tail. I'm always worried because she always scared she will be giving away. She went to a lot of people before she got to our family. Just think I didn't want a dog. 🤣 She made sure I loved her😁 I said no for two days as she's in my house. 🤣 Yet ... I was making plans for her to stay. I got the bed the sameday I talk to K9. They did a great job. And she didn't over freak out the second time when she came home like the first time. Poor thing. She like them. I believe they maybe post 2 pic's of her. But just to show how she started and two different times of going.
I saw some of those dogs. To me way better in person. Nice pic's but way better in person.
If I didn't say they didn't do how she came of course. But the second yes, but is was still old pic still there. The beach pic you can see they took. But she was happy there or around them.

I HIGHLY recommend them! They are good people who run a great business! I can't begin to say the most greatest things about them. They love your pups and are so knowledgeable! Brody, my Border Collie used to have hot spots and with her advice on changing his regimen a little, it worked! It's that extra love that means the world. Ruckus is my feisty Mini Aussie but they're patient and loving with him that now he doesn't have any anxiety coming to them! These photos will say it all about Ruckus!

My rating is based upon the treatment my family received here. Based on the reviews I was expecting someone that cared about dogs. Maybe I caught them on a bad day or a bad time, or something else...

Arrived for our appointment at 4pm per agreement. I was paying extra for rush service, no kennel. Groomer seemed put off of the timing.

I believe the lady that spoke to us was the owner. She berated my wife for not having grooming knowledge. I told her a couple times this was our first dog grooming experience and we were looking to clean up the appearance of my dogs fur and get the fur out of its eyes and uniform the face.

That wasn't enough, she kept pushing on I needed to explain the exact name or style of the cut we wanted. I told her this was the first ever experience with grooming and wasn't familiar with what was what but wanted to clean up my dogs appearance.

She grabbed my dog and was what appeared to me to manhandle my dog as it of course moved. She was in my opinion being aggressive with him. My dog is a super gentle small Maltese and like how could I let him be handled that way.

I was already very bothered. My wife was insistent on him getting a trim. The groomer then told us to come back and I said I'd rather wait. She then snapped an attitude that if the dog got hurt it would be my fault.

At this point she crossed the line with me.
1. The rude treatment to my wife
2. Manhandling my dog
3. Imply my dog would get hurt

I told her to hand my dog back over and we left.

Truly recommend!!! Recently I got a new dog who had a different owner of 8 years. I called as a walk in and were very straight to the point !. She came out looking brand new !!

Bradley’s Glow-Up Was Everything! (Before & After Pics)

I brought my dog Bradley to Valeri at K9Klipper and I was so excited for his big makeover—and she absolutely delivered! From start to finish, Valeri was gentle, professional, and truly connected with him. Bradley came in a bit scruffy and walked out looking (and feeling) like royalty—fresh, clean, and confident.

Valeri took her time, treated him with so much care, and gave him a transformation that matched his spirit. She’s truly gifted at what she does, and I could tell Bradley loved the experience (even if he barked a little sass on the way home!).

Thank you, Valeri, for giving my boy the glow-up of a lifetime. We’ll definitely be back!

K9 kipper groomers did such a great job on our yorkie Twinkie. They not only made him look very handsome but they also made him feel comfortable. It Was our first time coming here and they took us in same day was very affordable as well. we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back. Attached is a before and after.
