My baby (dog) absolutely loves it here. When I had taken her other places, she was fearful, and did not have a good experience. Here she is actually happy to even get in the car when she sees the bag I’m taking her with. She enjoys the wide variety of choices of both classes and activities. She even celebrated her birthday here. Whether it’s pools for the dog or dock training, this is the place to go. Easy and accessible to the airport. A wonderful staff away from the city. Thank goodness! Plenty of other animals to interact with if you choose. There is so much customization it’s exciting for your baby also. I typically have her spa day and her ear cleaning are done here also. You need to come try it for yourself.

We are so thankful to have found K9cation!! Our boys seemed to have a blast while they were boarded here for our recent vacation. They post pictures daily to their Facebook which is so nice! They also have SO MANY add ons you can get to customize your dogs stay. We loved getting our boys an intro to swimming class and some treats as well.
We also ran into car trouble on the way home and they were very accommodating with changing our pickup time since we ran behind. I would absolutely recommend this place for your fur baby, we can’t wait to use them again.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I have 7 year old cattle dog mix I adopted who has an absolute ton of anxiety. She also has a very strong herding instinct so I started bringing her to K9cation twice a week for daycare. In addition to the playtime with other dogs I add on an activity for her. She loves the ATV run and herding.

She has gained a ton of confidence. Not just when she goes but her energy at home has even seen her confidence boost. She has never liked car rides or going places, opting to hide when I get her leash out but now she gets excited to go waiting by the door.

The energy between her and my other female dog has also shifted to a calmer place. Gypsy's confidence has led to healthier relationship in her own pack. I knew this would be good for her to exercise and trying things that appeal to her instincts but it has boosted her confidence in ways I did not expect.

I highly recommend K9cation! They work with you and your dog’s needs. My dogs did not have a good experience at another facility where they were kept in a big room all day, but K9cation has so much space and many add-on options. I’m so happy I found them and have a trusted place to leave my dogs.
Thank you so much for taking care of my fur babies so well!

We drive from the west side of Denver to bring our dog Toby to K9cation for boarding. There are certainly closer options, but we know that the care Toby gets at K9cation is unparalleled. We love that there is all day play during boarding and he spends so much time outside. He loves the pool and taking dips in the ditch during adventure runs. I love the ample photos posted during his stay, and the ones taken as he gets a treat are often real winners. The value for this level of care is also impressive— we could pay much more to have him kenneled or at a barebones doggy daycare in the city. Don’t hesitate to board your dog here!

Hands down the best dog boarding facility I have ever used. They treat the dogs as their own and the fact that the dogs run free all day without being kenneled on and off is a huge plus.

Unfortunately, my pups have had bad experiences with other boarding facilities where it was obvious that they had not been properly taken care of and they wound up with injuries, not to mention once picked up they showed obvious signs of being scared of certain employees. I used Rover for a few years because I no longer trusted the larger daycare facilities and my dogs were terrified of them. That is until I was introduced to K9cation through a trusted family member.

My dogs are no longer terrified, they get excited and absolutely love it here. They have so much room to roam and play, they come home exhausted but happy every time they visit. I cannot describe how amazing it is to have a daycare that I trust for my dogs. I no longer spend my vacations or days out worrying about their well-being or wanting to check in on them constantly. That alone is worth everything to me. K9cation does dog daycare/boarding right and they obviously take care to hire the best employees for the job. I am so so grateful to have found this amazing place for my dogs. If you have had bad experiences with other facilities, take my word for it and give K9cation a try. I promise you won't regret it.

I have two Labs who absolutely love K9cation. They have gone for doggy daycare and boarding and have done training sessions for leash walking and recall. The facility is clean, the yards are huge, the offerings expanisive, and the trainers/staff are knowledgeable and top-notch. They update so frequently that I literally have more photos of my dogs' vacation than my own. It really gives peace of mind when you see what your dogs are up to.
I can't even begin to express my gratitude to K9cation for making me feel like I can go on vacation without worry. Knowing my babies are safe and cared for while I am away (and that they'll be knocked out for 3 days after I get home 😅) makes it possible to truly relax.

First off.... to save anyone the time of reading my very lengthy review. TAKE YOUR DOGS TO K9CATION... IF YOU HAVE A FLIGHT OUT OF DIA.. TAKE YOUR DOG HERE INSTEAD...HUGE HUGE HUGE DIFFERENCE IN ANY OTHER DOG DAYCARE. HANDS DOWN... A lil background..about a year ago we had three big dogs...german shepherd, golden retriever and a bloodhound. We lost Gilbert in December and to this day we talk on occasion how Gilbert would've loved it here. Gilbert was declining in health and required 24 hour care. At first K9cation was our occasional daycare so Trigger our Golden and George our Bloodhound had somewhere to get some energy out. Throughout this past year, K9cation has become much more then that and more like a family that we have our complete trust in with our babies. About three months ago I started working with the airlines. My hours fluctuated weekly and my husband and I had to try to find alternative care that was suitable for us. I chose the hotel dog care by the airport. (You know which one I'm talking about...) At first they gave me a tour...and I was like okay..this might do for now. Until day 1.Oh my god...my dogs were miserable. Something had to happen as day 2 my dogs wouldn't let me drop them off. I felt like something was wrong. I sat through training that day watching them on video becoming pissed off every moment I checked on them. I love love love my job...I never felt so uncomfortable leaving my dogs as I did that day and just wanted to quit.
I picked up my dogs and immediately went back to K9cation. The biggest mistake I've ever made was trying a corporate dog daycare. In short... there are major differences. Corporate dog daycares hire anyone who applies. The playground is a joke and the walks are not even a walk. Its basically a prison walk. Video cams are set up to see a blurry vision of your dog. It smells like chemicals and piss. Oh and the list can go on and on. K9cation is a family owned business and they have had the same staff since we started. The owners live on the property and there hasn't been a time they ever let me leave without saying good morning or good bye to us. I basically could have a cup of coffee comfortably like I was dropping my dogs off at my sisters house. My dogs literally want nothing to do with me once I mention they are going to school. They sit in the car like behaved kids going to a birthday party.
I've literally fallen outside as both my dogs drag me inside the door to be dropped off. Kinda hurts my feelings that my dogs would rather be there then with me. Overall the sense of security in knowing they aren't just sitting there waiting for me is a huge relief. Working for the airlines obviously requires travel. I've not one time ever left over night, over a weekend or over a week ever worrying about my dogs when they are at K9cation. I know they are okay. My whole family and old neighbors get on Facebook when I drop them off to see photos of Trigger and George live their best life when they are there. The whole place is suitable for whatever you want your dog to have. Let your dog be a dog and bring them there. It's like taking your dog to chuckie cheese but for dogs. Next month our Bloodhound will be of suitable age for training. My schedule changes and I'm honestly excited to get him on a training program there. My current schedule didn't allow me to have the flexibility to have a consistent training at home and didn't think it was fair to the staff at k9cation to invest in training George, knowing it couldn't be consistent at home. Let that last line soak in... K9cation actually invests in your dog... they truly care about your dogs wellbeing of being a damn dog.
If whomever is reading this...try them out. If your dog comes back smelling like dirt guess what? They played in the dirt! If they come home soaking wet it was pool day or they laid in the water.
Have peace in knowing when you can't always let your dog be a dog. This is the place to take them. (One last thing...they aren't that far from DIA. About 20 minutes.)
