I will Never recommend friends, family, n foes to them. This K9 Training will help but won't Board the dogs that they trained to be Protective. Manuel and Carla the owners/trainers of the facility were Amazing people at one point. When my husband took our dog back 10 months later for his (husband) training Manuel said I have been doing a wonderful job keeping up with everything for our dog. Most recently went in for a meeting greet Manuel surprised my very protective Bull terrier and myself from behind us, then continued talking over me and yelling at me to leave. He said she was aggressive when anyone that truly has a dog knows that was nothing but purely protective! So bottom line is they're more than happy to take your money and your dog for the training but after that they will Not board your baby.

The worst experience with an interview training. As a woman he cut me off made assumptions and wouldn’t let me speak when I tried to tell him about my dog and her training so far. He attempted to dominate me as though I were a dog and wouldn’t let me speak and explain about my pet. He assumed I baby my dog and would only speak to my husband and wouldn’t address me because I am a woman. Stay away from this trainer. Bad experience.

We really enjoy K9 PW. You can see the passion Manuel has for training the dogs. Not only did our dog go for training, but we also had them stay for boarding. It spoke to me that as soon as we arrived back my dog went right up to Manuel and was so excited to see him.

Manuel just finished training dog #2 for us and he does such a great job. Our dog now goes to day camp to keep up socialization and is SO excited when we drop him off.

My dog could not be happier with the great staff that took care of her. The owners are very knowledgeable about dogs and the facilities are incredible: spacious, comfortable, and they have areas both inside and out for the pups. I love that the dogs are happy and have no stress

K9 is a fantastic home for our Choc. Lab, Rocky. They boarded and trained him while my husband had a triple bypass. Rocky was there 4 weeks and came home a trained dog. Is he perfect, no but neither are we perfect. We are all learning from Manuel. Thanks Carla and Manuel for the videos of Rocky. Rocky misses his friends at K9 PW.

This place was amazing !! If you are looking for a place to leave your dog at and get amazing care this is the place. I never thought my hyper energetic dog was going to learn to walk on a leash next to me correctly. She now knows the rules and now I’m working on re enforcing everything she has learn. Honestly so happy and looking forward to putting her in daycare so she can continue to socialize with other dogs.

I came to Manuel and Carla after talking to various trainers. I wanted my dog to learn good manners and listen to me without having to bribe him with a treat so we can go on hikes and public places safely. Out of everyone I talked to Manuel was the only one who said it’s possible and who didn’t scare me about the fact I adopted “a working dog”. The day before dropping my pup over, I went into the rabbit hole of reading every single review and unfortunately, while all were positive, there were 2 negative ones that made it sound like the training would either hurt the dog or change his at home behavior which was enough to make me question my decision. Thankfully, I went with my gut and the genuine kindness and care for the dogs I noticed speaking to Manuel and watching him interact with the dogs. After 2 weeks of boarding and 3 weeks reinforcing the behavior, my puppy can walk on a lose leash with almost no effort, stops, sits and stays anytime I tell him to, knows the word “no” and plays really well with other dogs which he didn’t know how to before and I didn’t know how to teach him. He even started doing the commands without a leash. We get compliments by everyone who sees us and people are envious of his manners. I was concerned about the corrections hurting my pup, and at first was afraid to assert myself as a leader, so Manuel had to be direct (but not mean or disrespectful) with me about my dog testing me and the fact that at this point the success of the training was up to me. I only had to correct him a few times before he learned that I’m the leader and I recognize that these corrections were not at all hurtful for the pup. So if like me, you happen to see the 2 reviews that I mention, do yourself a favor and ignore them and believe the positive ones if you want a well behaved dog and a trainer who really know what he’s doing and wants every dog that goes through his training to be successful.

They were so great to my girls! I’ve recommended them to a lot of people, even my dogs’ vet. They do post trainer training as I’ll call it where they critique the way you perform the training exercises. My girls have been amazing. They were tough to be around at times and now they mind so much better after it all!
