My dog Lila went through a three week training program and was boarded with Channa this past summer. She has always been a loving and affectionate dog but definitely struggled with reactivity and following commands. She did an excellent job caring for and teaching my girl structure. She was very sweet to my dog in the various videos she kept me updated with. When picking Lila up after three weeks, I saw obey her commands that she never knew before. I was very impressed by the support and clarity Channa provided throughout the whole process. When I had questions and concerns she reassured me and gave me guidance. I was looking at a few different option and am glad I found Channa. The cost was worth all the knowledge Lila absorbed and practice she engaged in every day. Channa is fantastic and helped convert Peanut from an uncontrollable shepherd street rescue into a very well-behaved (on and off leash) dog that I can happily and proudly bring with me everywhere.

Before Channa’s training, Peanut would pull so hard on walks that it felt like your arm might be pulled out of its socket. She was very leash-aggressive and would lose her mind whenever she saw other dogs. Off-leash was out of the question—she couldn’t be trusted. We tried a long lead, but she would constantly get tangled, making outings like hikes or trips to the hardware store more frustrating than enjoyable.

Peanut completed six 1-hour lessons with Channa over the course of two months. The lessons were well-structured and clear, with training homework for us to complete before the next session. After the lessons, Peanut learned to heel, transforming our walks from a literal and figurative drag into something we both look forward to.

Peanut is now off-leash trained, which means she can join me on hikes while staying under voice command. She reliably recalls or sits even when she’s 50–100 feet away. She now enjoys trips to the dog park, and I often get compliments from other people asking how my dog is so responsive and well-trained.

Channa’s training was truly a game changer. Peanut and I give her our highest recommendation!

Channa is an excellent dog trainer who provided consistent and detailed updates daily. Her feedback was always honest and constructive. Highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of our dog, Wren, and what needed the most work. Channa’s honesty and hard work during the board and train showed integrity and her willingness to put Wren’s needs first. We appreciated the videos showing her progress and growth throughout the weeks with off leash capabilities in heavy trafficked areas such as Walmart and Home Depot. We would highly recommend others to use her services for obedience, manners and training!!

This has been one of our best decisions made I was very skeptical signing up. I chose the 14 day board and train program and was assigned with our trainer Channa. We have an 8 month old French bulldog that was full of energy and completely out of control. The word sit was out of the question. Fast forward 14 days later we were handed over a well mannered behaved dog. Exactly what was advertised is what we received. Channa was amazing, she was very communicative and listened very well to our concerns and addressed them all. Daily updates and videos to keep us informed of all the progress our dog made. Channa had my dog for 3 weeks and she came back knowing how to sit, stay,place, heal, and with my dog learning all of that she was able to be off leash with no issues. Through the whole board and train Channa kept me updated everyday and anytime I asked questions or just wanted a picture because I was missing my dog she would respond accordingly. Channa would also send me updated videos of the progress my dog was making. Great communication during the whole 3 weeks. Made me feel a lot better about being away from my dog for so long!

Channa was amazing! We took our 5mo old cane corso (Bosa) to her for a 3 week training & he learned so much! We wanted him to have a good foundation, build confidence and mainly listen to commands for safety/security. We got exactly that with Channa! One of his commands learned was “off” and the day after we welcomed him back home, I already had to use it for an unavoidable situation. During our morning walk while rounding a corner, Bosa and I unexpectedly encountered two loose dogs. Cane corsos are protective by nature so I was concerned as we did not know the nature of the loose dogs. Bosa did not growl or bark and had no signs of aggression thanks to immediately using the command “off” while redirecting his attention back to our walk and picking up the pace. The dogs followed us sniffing at him and while he wanted to engage, the command in combination with e-collar reinforcement allowed us to walk away from the situation without either of us being harmed. Channa is extremely open to questions/concerns and very patient in teaching us exactly how to command and reinforce in our 2 hour session at pick up so I felt really prepared/comfortable for home life post training. I would recommend Channa to anyone who needs help with their pups!

I found Channa by pure luck through a neighbor. At the time Channa and I met, my dog had been struggling for months becoming more and more anxious, leash reactive, and afraid of the world. Because of her behaviors I was becoming nervous handling her and things were beginning to spiral. Enter Channa to save the day. We started out doing one-on-one training sessions and she immediately gave me concrete skills to start working on, going back to the fundamentals of obedience and accountability. At each session we’d build on skills and I would have a clear plan for what to continue to work on between sessions. A few months into working together I was going out of town so I decided to do board and train. I was apprehensive about leaving her with someone else—only because I really love this dog—but Channa provided the reassurance I needed. She sent me daily photos and videos and HONEST check ins about what my dog was doing well or struggling with (the transparency was SO important to me and put me at such ease). In a short time Channa helped my girl build the confidence she needed to move through the world with neutrality and to look for direction in situations where she was uncertain! At the turnover Channa took her time to teach me what I needed to know to continue to give my dog the leadership she’s desperately needed.
