K9 Island has been the best boarding facility that I have ever used and our dogs have LOVED it! We have used both the daytime as well as the overnight dog boarding services and both Coconut and Rowan have always had so much fun playing with their canine friends at K9.
The staff is amazing and takes such good care of all of their animals. Brenda, the owner, always listens carefully, is attentive to all of the animals’ needs, and she is always good at working with us and our schedule/reservation requests!

K9 Island is absolutely the best! We have two cattle dogs that have been going to daycare there since they were puppies (about two years). It is truly their second home. They get so excited to walk in the door!

We are happy to know that we can board them in a place that they love when we go out of town - it helps relieve the guilt knowing that they are with some of their favorite people and having fun playing with other dogs every day.

We are grateful to “Auntie” Brenda (as we call her to the boys) and her staff for putting animals first. They have accommodated our boys from the very beginning in many ways; such as keeping them separated but entertained after neutering when we had to be at work.

We couldn’t ask for more from K9 Island! They are great and I hope my boys can always go there!

My dog Norman goes to doggy daycare weekly and has for over the past year. He loves it and Brenda and the crew take amazing care of him. I have confidence he is in the best hands while I'm at work and getting all of the attention and excitement he can handle. My pup was scared of everyone and all dogs. She absolutely hated her first month. Brenda and crew were so patient and helpful with her. Now she absolutely loves going to daycare. It's her favorite thing and Brenda is one of her favorite people.

Brenda and her staff took excellent care of my pups during their stay! The staff took into consideration my concerns and the dogs' personalities as well. They made notes of what they liked and who they liked. They didn't push my dogs to play with other dogs during their stay based off of their observations of how my dogs were reacting to the environment. They even took extra measures to make sure my dogs ate their food. I highly recommend K9 Island for people who have more timid dogs.

Sadly my pup was kept alone all day. I was told after the fact that he was isolated as part of a process to familiarize him with doggie daycare, even though I communicated that he has been to daycare before and loved it. I completed the required forms and reported no aggression - ever. The reasoning I was given feels like excuses for not wanting to properly socialize and having too many dogs to contend with. I feel horrible for putting him through that!

My Bailey loves going here. My other dog, before she passed, also stayed here. Great staff. Very attentive owner. Bailey was nervous at first and they took their time with her, while she adapted. Highly recommend.
