Amy has been a blessing to work with. We came in desperate for guidance, and she simplified the training in a way we could understand and recreate at home. A stray arrived at our home, and we felt so lost on how to handle a large, energetic dog. After a few private sessions, we started to see positive changes in our dog’s behavior, and our stress quickly vanished.

I will never take my dogs anywhere else. Amy is amazing how she can control a large group of dogs. I feel very safe leaving them, when we go on vacation. We also have done dog training for a couple years now. When people meet our dogs they are amazed how well they behave. I also admire how they have taken in dogs that would otherwise be euthanized and turns them around to be adoptable.

We completed the 4 Week Elementary, HS , and college training courses with our pup George. This is an excellent facility, the staff (Jack, Amy, Alex, Izzy, and others I may be forgetting) are extremely knowledgeable in dog behavior. The K9 team provide the necessary skills and tools to assist you in building a solid trusting relationship with your dog. I have recommended K9 to many people. I appreciate their patience and how well maintained the facility inside and out are kept. We also board at K9 , our big guy George is always happy to return and we feel at ease knowing he is in a safe, clean environment with well behaved dogs to enjoy his time away from home.

Fantastic company!! We've done boarding, training, and weekly daycare. Our dog loves it there. Everyone is friendly. The best part is the owners (Amy & Jack) live on site. I find comfort in knowing that my pup is never really alone when boarded.

We took our dog Duke to K9 Development when we had to travel out of the country for 3 weeks. We had a lot of anxieties leaving our dog but after going in for a talk with Amy on what to expect and what was offered, we felt comfortable with leaving Duke.
When we got back, Duke was so well behaved, he learned to share and be nice to other dogs. He followed the commands to the T and we still use the commands up to this day! Our dog was well looked after. The trainers are greet, it's a friendly atmosphere and they make sure you get your money's worth!!!

I highly recommend this place. I took my dog there for a week for board and training while I was on vacation. Before my vacation, she was very aggressive, stubborn, and had bad behavior. I thought she was untrainable. When I came back, I was surprised by the results and how behaved I got her. It was very pricey but it was worth my money. Plus, the staff are very helpful and thorough. Amy and her staff took the time to evaluate my dog and Alex was a very helpful trainer and walked me through most of the training. I will be continuing her classes with them.

A mixed-style training facility that also has in-house day care and boarding. We and several of our friends have trained our dogs here and I can say without a doubt that they have figured out how to help you have a well trained and well mannered dog. You can attend group classes and train yourself, or you can have your dog board with them and be trained at the same time, I just have your dog with them while you are out on vacation.

To be clear though, as a mixed style facility, they use a combination of positive reinforcement and correction. If you want only positive reinforcement for your dog, look elsewhere. That said, if you do choose to come here, you can be sure to get great results if you do your part.

I highly recommend K9 development.
Amy and her team are very knowledgable and run a top notch kennel.
I have a pit Bull who needs training and socialization with other dogs.
So I trust K 9 development to accomplish the training my dog needs.
The kennel is clean and perfectly set up for caring for your dog.
There’s no crazy barking or crying going on..
Just a peaceful space.
It’s great for day care too.
Well worth the drive.
I really liked Amy and all the staff.
You can tell she gives it her all.
Everyone is genuine and care about helping you with your dog.
