Terry was amazing with my little frenchie. Terry took her time, didn't rush the process, and did an amazing job. Dakota was so sweet to my baby dog also.

We love K-9 Design. We've been taking our fur baby here since we adopted her, and they do an outstanding job grooming her. I think we've been taking her here for almost 5 years. I tell Shelby to load up, we're going to the groomers and she cannot wait to get there. If there are any issues they let us know right away. (They found a growth on her and we immediately had the vet check it out. All was well) If you don't like something, let them know and they will fix it right away. (They put bows on Shelby and she prefers a bandana. Next time she was wearing a bandana!) They are very easy to work with and my dog loves going there.

I am using my husband's phone to write this review due to issues currently with my phone. I don't usually write reviews however this one can't go unnoticed. I have used k9 design off and on for several years and have never had a bad experience up until today. I brought my shitzu in at 8:10 this morning for his grooming appointment. I spoke with Tracy at length about how short we should have him cut due to his back end being super matted. While talking to Tracy this other lady walked up ( found out her name Flora) felt my shitzu from behind and acted disgusted and walked away. Now, I do brush him alot because he rolls on our carpet due to a skin issue. He does get pretty knotted up back there. I was going with what Tracy was advising. I called k9 at 1:10 to see how things are going. Tracy answered and said she has been brushing him out and he didn't have to be cut super short like we first thought and he's next to be done. Tracy called at 2:10 saying I could pick him up by 3. I get there at 2:45. I said hi with a smile to Flora who was walking towards the counter to check me out. She was huffing and puffing with a scowel on her face telling me the charge. I gave her my card asking her if she's ok? She said yes why wouldn't she be. I told her she was acting very rude to me. She gave me the receipt. I asked her where do I put the tip? She very rudley told me I didn't say anything regarding a tip. I told her she didn't ask and that I always tip. Very aggressively she said she would reverse it and do it again with the tip. She seemed very frustrated. At this point I was getting upset with her behavior towards me just trying to pay for my dog and go home.
I told her that I've been coming here off and on for awhile and have never been treated like this. By this time Tracy was finishing up with my dog taking him off the table and brought him out to me. She was cutting the hair under his chin and spraying him. I asked Tracy if she's the owner or is it the guy who's usually here . She said she's not the owner but Todd is. I asked for his number. She was unable to give me the number which I totally understand. She did say he would be in Monday. While I'm standing there telling Tracy I will never bring my dog back here due to this other woman's behavior and that I also am in customer service and would never treat a customer like I've been treated by Flora. I also asked her how long Flora has been working there. Her answer was 17 years. All of the sudden Flora yells HEY. I turned my head to her. She clapped her hands in my face 6 times. When I say in my face it was an inch from my nose. I could feel the wind from her hand slapping. She then proceeded to go into the back room and start running some sort of a dryer which was super loud. I turned towards Tracy who's mouth dropped and she said she has never seen that before and looked extremely shocked. By the
time, I had just a minute to tell her about my encounter, another customer was coming in I guess to pick up his dog. Before I had a chance to put the harness on my dog Tracy picked up my dog, I'm guessing incase he wanted to run out the door and gave him to me. I thanked her for her excellent grooming and told her I left her a tip. She thanked me and out the door I went. I sat in my car for a good 10 minutes shaking from what I just experienced from this very rude person by the name of Flora. She doesn't need to be treating customers in this manner. I was appalled by this and will not ever bring my dog back. I do want to say again that I've aways have had good service from k9 design. I don't ever want to encounter this rude person again. She shouldn't be working in the front with customers. She has ruined my ever wanting to come back to this place.
Reading reviews now, after my experience it looks like other patrons have had issues with this same individual!

🌟We brought our Yorkie in, you deserve 10 🌟! She was so happy and no tear stains! She even pranced around the other dog's in the salon to show-off! She looks incredible with her perfect teddy bear cut! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💫
We took our mixed breed Chihuahua to get her TALONS... lol, nails cut and she hates it! Not one chirp once While they were cutting and grinding! She wasn't upset, no shaking and no huge whale eyes! Not only that, but they were AMAZINGLY fast. The staff was really nice and attentive. The owner was very nice and wasn't unapproachable in anyway. Can't Wait to get my Yorkie in!

PS... I live next door to one of your clients and her little Daisy looks absolutely beautiful.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have been bringing my babies here for well over a year. They have always had great customer service until about 3 months ago. They chopped my poodles hair so bad that I had to call back. I asked to speak with the manager in which I was told “the manager is the owner”. I have yet to receive a phone call! My last visit, last week, I again requested a phone call to which I was told “well if he hasn’t called you back there’s nothing I can do”. I will be finding a different groomer going forward!!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I can't say enough good things about k-9 design. Flora used to groom my parents two disabled yorkies years ago so of course I started taking my pomeranian here as soon as I adopted him. He can be grumpy but we have never had any issues because Tracy always makes him feel comfortable and takes care of him. She even lets him nibble on her knuckles while she grooms him from what I've heard. He loves her so much that I always try to scheule his appointments with her. Definitely take your pets here! They are the best! I will never use a different groomer as long as I live in the area.

Not impressed with the male whole ripped hair off my dog and didn’t even mention it. I will only request the girls to groom my dogs, mainly the one who brings her dogs to work.
