Bear loves it here and so do mom and dad! It's a safe, clean, fun and loving environment! We love when he stays because we get so many updates. 10/10 recommend!! We wouldn't send our fur baby anywhere else.

I have a cavapoo, Juniper who is a sweet smart little girl. I had her at daycare, and they worked with her training the basics. It didn't work for her. Daycare made her very anxious, and the training was not the right format for her. I went researching places. I found K9 comfort, they are about 90 minutes from me, but so totally worth the drive. I was concerned because she is afraid of men. Jason recognized it and knew what to do. He spent 2 hours with Juni, my parents and myself. Going over his training, and observing Juni. He wanted to make sure he could help her, so as to not to waste our time and money. By the end of the 2 hours I had learned a lot of what I needed to change and do, and Juni was now listening and learning from Jason. She spent 2 weeks with Jason, Carrie and the boys. She not only learned the basics but she found her confidence. She is even more cuddly, and so relaxed. She came home a different, better little girl. She used to bark at anything she didn't know, or was different, and we could not talk to our neighbors over the fence due to the barking. She would jump on people coming in the door, and not listen. We spend time daily going over the things she learned from Jason. She sits, stays, comes when called. She loves to learn, and I can add things now. I am so thankful for Jason, Carrie and the boys, for all the work and love they put into Juni, but also for providing me the tools I needed to continue her growth. She is living her best life now, confident, relaxed and happy.
I have since had the chance to board her their during a family vacation. She was so happy, while she stayed. This is the first time she came home happy and relaxed from boarding. Oh and smelling awesome. In fact I think she wanted to bring the boys home with her. They have a clean and welcoming facility. Each dog/dog family has their own space, and they have their own run when outside. The dogs are loved on, and have lots of fun playtime with the family. It is so quiet there. Which is so awesome for my dog .( At daycare all of the barking, made her so nervous. She could not adjust to an ever changing pack.) Here there is none of that.
K9 Comfort is worth the time, money and drive for training and boarding. For my pup it is a second home, when needed. She is loved and cared for here. Jason, Carrie and the boys do a wonderful job caring for and training all the dogs that come there. I live in a large city, but I will drive the 90 minutes to give my dog Juni a safe, happy place to stay when I can not be with her. I know she will be loved on and cared for as I would do for her. I have added some pictures of her living her best life while boarding and training at K9 Comfort.

This is the BEST place by far to board your furry child or children! They love your dog like they are one of their own. Also, comes out to greet you when you show up and help bring your dogs items in. My West Highland Terrier Snowflake LOVES coming here! Then, she is so sad to leave.

Jason and his team operate the best kennel around. We had our Doberman Zeus there for a 14 day train and board program. Zeus’ previous visits to kennels were stressful on him. He would come home with marks on his head and nose from nudging the kennel because of anxiety and stress. The K9 Comfort team understands how to relieve dogs of that stress. It’s evident when you visit the facility, absolute silence. The dogs are not barking, they are stress free and enjoying their time relaxing. The facility is clean and doesn’t smell like a kennel. The training Zeus received was amazing. Some might say the dog was smart, but that’s not the case. Jason knows his stuff. He understands how dogs and the dogs owners think! The training we received when dropping Zeus off was very rewarding, it gave us confidence that we made the correct choice. We were confused by all the information available online about dog training. So many methods, well actually opinions and nothing really based on science and experience. Zeus was a good dog prior to training, now he is phenomenal. He’s the dog we always wanted. Thanks Jason and the K9 Comfort team. also, we live in Cedar Rapids, the drive was worth it and we will not hesitate to make the drive for future boarding.

Wow is all we have to say after boarding our puppy, and then completing the board & train program. Jason, Carrie, and their family provide superb service and care for the dogs, and the training gave us a new lease on life. Our 1 year old puppy had issues managing his energy, and Jason helped us solve/manage almost all of those issues! My only regret is not visiting with Jason and Carrie before we got our puppy as they are very helpful!

Jason and Carrie and team are amazing. You know it's awesome from the minute you arrive to a full kennel that is whisper quiet.... that's the sound of happy dogs. Our Maggie stayed for an extended time and went through Jason's training program (AMAZING!!) She thrived in the care of K9 comfort. I highly recommend for training boarding grooming and all things dog! Thank you we will be customers for life!

We took our German Shepherd to see Jason. Wow I say. From the minute we got her out of truck training was on. He is very to the point which may make some little nervous; however he knows his talent. I was ever so amazed with the knowledge we received about our Bristol and the training received that evening. Trust me I got work to do however I feel confident and gonna keep working daily on my training recommendations. Jason and Carrie amazing...
