Julie is an excellent trainer! Our rescue, Mamba, is a sensitive boy - very smart and wants to show off, but also socially awkward and reactive when nervous. Mamba’s personality really began to shine in Julie’s puppy classes and we were so grateful to have found a trainer that understood exactly how to reach him, how to challenge him, and how to bring out the best in him. Whenever we had a question, Julie was prepared with an answer & always willing to help us come up with a solution to our problems. Our favorite part about training with Julie was her commitment to force free, fear free training. Mamba is very sensitive to correction and responds very well to both praise and treats. With Julie’s training plan, Mamba aced all basic obedience behaviors and was also able to earn his Canine Good Citizen certification. Julie is easily one of Mamba’s top 3 favorite people, which means she’s one of our favorites too!
