Jack is an amazing fishing guide! Very knowledgeable, friendly and knows the river so well. I successfully caught a fish my first time fly fishing! This section of the Rio Grande is just gorgeous as well, wow. The shop is great too, the apparel there is crazy soft and functional and I wear my trucker cap all the time now.

Jack was fun and knowledgeable, a great guide. He is clearly very experienced on this river, knew every aspect of the water we fished. It was my wife’s first time fly fishing and Jack did a great job instructing her. We can’t wait to go fishing with him again. We highly recommend Jackalope Anglers!

Great little shop in town that has some quality boards, clothes and gear (fishing stuff too, but I don’t fish)! Jack is super knowledgeable of the area and passionate about helping folks get outside. He’s got ski rentals, a full tune set up and plenty of great advice to get you on your way. Cheaper than wolf creek, no lines and great vibes.

Great fishing and ski shop! Rentals are cheaper than wolf creek ski area and you can skip all the mountan lines. Jack is super knowledgeable about the area and always keen to help!

My wife and I went on a fishing charter on the Rio Grande with jackalope anglers !! It was awesome !! Our guide Jack knew every nook and cranny of the Rio and got us hooked on a ton of fish !! As someone who knows nothing about fly fishing our guide Jack made sure we were using the right hooks and showed us how to cast the fly rod correctly without hooking each other ! We also rented tubes and took a little tube float on the Rio grande wave park ! There was people surfing the wave too !! Highly recommend if you find yourself in Del Norte
