My puppy and I just graduated from Puppy school and we had a great time! Janine, Vic, Izzy & Hudson were very helpful and patient with me as a new mom to an active/playful puppy! They help put my nerves at ease and offered soooo many helpful tips!I will be continuing my classes with J9 K9 Dog Training...hope to move up!

The training at Janine’s school has really has been super effective! My dog was initially very nervous in almost all situations, but working here has helped both my dog and me to build better behaviors. Would highly recommend this school!

The training is the best- the content, the follow up. It's amazing how much they care. The work is up to you. I wasn't very consistent the 1st time with practicing with my dog. I retook a class again and began seeing results because I did the homework i was given. Each time - was given more and more support and my little rat terrier/chihuahua is much more confident after taking 1 session! Very happy Dad Dog!

The Puppy Day School has been fantastic for our pup, Tucker. He was so excited to go each day and the consistent training that he was able to receive has been incredible for our family. We took the Puppy Class prior, which was a great head-start and we’re excited to continue with the Beginner Class soon! Couldn’t recommend any higher!

Here's the bottom line: Janine's training at J9's K9s saved our dog's life. He almost ran across the street and we used the "recall word" we were trained on in the classes and he stopped right at the street. We've done at least 3 classes with J9's K9s and have referred several people including our neighbor across the street who has a Weimaraner puppy. So worth it.

Great training for my Golden pup! Finished Beginners Class about 2 months ago. Still do NOT have a Certificate of Completion for this class! Apparently, trainer does NOT think these certs are important enough to mail out or email to those paying big bucks for these classes!!!!! Why, I ask

What an incredible experience! My husband and I rescued an adolescent male husky-shepherd mix about 9 months ago. He is a sweetheart but can be fearful and reactive, especially with other dogs. We thought that he would benefit from a group class where he could be exposed to other dogs in a safe environment. We are so happy that we found J9's K9's and the extra special pleasure of having the owner and master trainer, Janine, as our instructor. She uses a positive reinforcement model that helps you teach your dog obedience skills and focus, and also develops and deepens a positive bond with your dog. Always available to answer questions outside of class, Janine goes above and beyond to help you and your dog troubleshoot issues as they arise. Plus, the price is right! A six-week class is the same price as most trainers charge for one individual session. Totally worth it and highly recommended!

My dog, Fern, and I are on our third round of classes at J9's K9s. When we first started, I assumed we would just go to the beginner's level class for Fern and I to pick up some basics. But, Fern did so well, came to be so comfortable, and obviously enjoyed the classes so much that we came back for the intermediate level class and now are in the advanced level.
The classes are well thought out and well organized. Janine is so knowledgeable and patient and is able to customize exercises to suit individual dogs' personalities.
The trainers who assist her in each class are equally skilled and compassionate.
I've had enough experience with other highly-regarded trainers and training philosophies to know that J9's K9s is extraordinary. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
