This little market has always been so great to have when we come down for our vacations! Everyone who works there that we’ve encountered is amazing. Very friendly staff, great selection of Sunset Beach specific souvenirs, and also a great selection of grocery items that you may forget when shopping in town. Our only ask is for more Sunset Beach post cards! We love to send postcards and usually the Sunset Beach ones are sold out. I know it’s off season now (not a dig, just a request!) Y’all are great. And we love the rescue doggo that hangs out sometimes. 🥰

Julie, Dean, Grayson, Darry and the crew are THE BEST!! You have to start your morning with some coffee - so many options to choose from - and of course, some love from Chicka. The store has pretty much anything you could possibly need for the beach or home. The clothing section is incredible! And the Deli sandwiches are just pure deliciousness 😋 We love Sunset Beach because there is basically nothing here but thank goodness for the Island Market because they have it all! Thanks guys!! Love you all!

The Island Market is a wonderful local store in Sunset Beach offering a variety of beach necessities. They have a very nice selection of Sunset Beach tshirts and hats at reasonable prices.

Very nice owners. Father in law has a place on sunset and we have come down a couple of times to enjoy the area. We were able to grab some drinks and sunnies and a chair there. Plenty of grab and go stuff that you may have forgotten. We appreciated the heads up to carry license with us and will hope to be back soon to pet that sweet puppy.

These sweet people - they weren't even open and still helped me out when I forgot dog treats back at the hotel. We chatted for a bit about our dogs and she took care of me. My rescue baby had a great first time at the beach and got a lot of good exposure training because of that kindness. Next time I go I hope they're actually open so I can do my shopping there!
