Kat is absolutely the BEST! I can’t even begin to tell you what a relief and godsend it was to find her. After the second vet visit with my Aussie puppy, Finn, I knew something wasn't quite right. He hated being handled and was terrified of people. I tried group puppy classes at a fear free training facility, but he was still so scared. If you’ve never had a dog with severe behavioral issues (fear of people and reactivity) it can be overwhelming and isolating. After an incredibly stressful year, I finally connected with Kat through our behavioral vet. She is kind, gentle, compassionate and goes at a pace Finn is comfortable with. She introduced us to cooperative care and now we’re at a point where we can trim his booty curtains with the scary trimmer! She takes the time to build trust, and he is so excited to see her now — so heartwarming. Thanks to Kat’s extensive knowledge and expertise, we are finally making progress. So whether you have pup with behavioral issues or a “normal” dog who just needs a little extra help, don’t despair. Kat can give you the help you need. I highly, highly recommend her.

My 5 year old Welsh Terrier Winnie has always struggled with stress and anxiety, which was exacerbated after we moved. Her behavior was becoming a huge source of stress for the whole family. The veterinary behaviorist referred us to Kat, who has changed everything for us! Through our sessions, we have learned how to help Winnie manage her big feelings and reward her for positive behaviors. I love that we do our sessions in our home over Face Time, because with my ear buds in, Winnie has no idea that the instructions are coming from someone else, and she's learning the desired behaviors in her own space from her mama. Kat is so knowledgeable and supportive, and has made a tremendous impact on our family!

We have a mixed breed rescue, Rosie, with a high level of energy and a short attention span. We started working with Kat to learn how to help Rosie focus her attention and control her energy, enough to hear our commands and obey for longer periods. Rosie was also having difficulty with recognizing cues from our other dog, as well as some resource guarding.
Kat was very helpful providing training and suggestions on these issues. She is very knowledgeable, so when one solution doesn’t work, she has others to try until we all are happy with the results.
I liked that Kat came to our house to train, so she could see Rosie in her natural environment.

Kat has been wonderful with our pup, Luna. Luna was very nervous at vet visits. Kat has worked with Luna at our home, on her farm, and at the vet, and Luna adores her! She has taught us so much about dog behavior and emotional states.

Luna’s latest vet visit was a triumph! Kat came and worked with Luna as the vet drew blood and gave her vaccines. Luna even licked the vet at the end! We’re so proud of Luna’s progress and are very grateful to Kat.

We have a reactive 4 year old Aussideoodle and Kat did a tremendous job helping him improve. With her guidance, he has become far less reactive and is able to relax for much longer periods without interruption. Kat is wonderful!! She’s not only patient with our dog Zeppy, she is patient with us humans too! Zeppy absolutely loves Kat! She has taught us so much about Zeppy and the way a dog’s brain works. We’ve seen improvement with Zeppy and feel more confident in ourselves working with his anxiety issues!!

Highly highly recommend Kat!!! I contacted Kat awhile ago about my dog Clover who was starting to become reactive and show aggression towards random dogs we met or while walking. We started working with Kat immediately, which Clover LOVES her and she already had Clover learning new commands the first time we met. Kat was able to analyze Clover’s behavior and body language while at my house, at parks and walking around town. She quickly explained to me how the chemicals in his brain work based off his reactiveness towards dogs, his threshold and the time it would take to come back to normal. Kat worked with Clover and I on behavior modification and she has coached me on how to handle situations and use a variety of skills with Clover daily. Sometimes when we would not see dogs at the park, she would bring out stuffed animal dogs as props or sometimes even her own dogs to work with Clover. Clover has shown great improvement since working with Kat and I have learned about dog behavior as well as the knowledge to continue working with and handling Clover! Kat has also always answered texts, calls or scheduled appointments if I have questions if something new arises with Clover!

Kat is the absolute best! Our very anxious girl Presley has been taking strides with loose leash walking and reactivity. We’re even slowly adding people that she’s comfortable around… without Kat this wouldn’t have been possible! She’s professional, personable, and reliable. Presley loves her and with each visit and recommendation from Kat she is growing into a less anxious pup. Not to mention she helps me balance my 9 month old and puppy each session 😂 Thank you, Kat!
