My puppy came home to me 2 weeks ago today to be trained to be a service dog~ he just turned 5 months old, and with me 2 weeks, and is already showing signs of natural alerts and responding to my medical episodes perfectly!! I’m so glad that I was able to find John at Hunters Creek Retrievers. My family was in need of a service dog. We wanted a dog that was well trained at home as well as in public. When we went to meet John, we immediately knew we were in the right place. We learned about the mini charities that he has contributed to as well as working for the JJ Watt commercial. John’s dogs are not only well trained. They are very well behaved. Before our meeting, we told John what we were looking for. He introduced us to all of his dogs and then took us to the seven that he thought would be the best for us. Out of those my daughter was immediately drawn to one. My daughter worked with the seven dogs that John had pulled out for her. He was very patient and kind. My daughter asked John a lot of questions. He answered them and explained everything that she wanted to know. Our dog has been an amazing contribution to our family. He fit right in from the day we got him and has allowed my daughter to live a happy and healthy life. He has been very helpful regarding the budget that we had set and has answered any questions that we have had after we brought our dog home. Thank you John for giving my daughter the ability to live the life she wants.

The first day we brought our puppy home , he was walking with us on heel. Thanks to Johns great training through Puppy Head Start Training, The Puppy Head Start Training has helped both our puppy and us make am easy transition to our home. He knows Sit, stay and come already. Thank you John!

John picked a puppy that will be trained to be a service dog for my daughter with several disabilities. It's only been a few weeks, but the puppy seems to be very eager to please and learn new things. Definitely a positive experience, even from about as far away in Texas as one can be from the Houston area!
