I rented a snake for a backup in my house. The machine was very rusty and didn’t work well at all. It kept sticking. When I went to return it it leaked rust all over my stairs rugs are really messed up. I had to call a Plummer to do the job. He used the same machine only it was smooth running and didn’t leak all over.
When I told the folks at Home Town they said they maintain the machine every time they are brought back. I don’t think so.
It was a waste of time and money and got my carpets full of rust.
I won’t ever go there again

Recently I was in getting a green house. Staff was very helpful I was greeted upon entry , which was great ,the staff helped me with every question. And best thing was the price got a great deal.I would definitely go agine. ( And there mechanic is very handsome !!! Married, Not married ? )

A few of the items in the store are expensive. It's out of Brush Colorado dot-dot-dot everything around this area is ridiculously expensive. However there are also a lot of very good deals in the store. More along the lines of basic hand tools and simple Hardware, some of the prices are cheaper than what you can buy at Walmart, Harbor Freight, Amazon, or just about anywhere else even. I've never asked but it seems to be a smaller family-owned business. Everybody is always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend shopping here to help support the business and to get a good deal on most anything in the store.

Well two days in a row they have not failed me they came up with the parts and pieces that I needed after my electricity has gone out and my friend needed firewood which they had and some kind strangers donated money to buy him some firewood so support your local businesses they are there for you when you need help. Just do it.

This store employs problem solvers. Once again, I'm happy that I went there.

I went to two other places first (closer to me, in Fort Morgan). They didn't have exactly what I needed. Then I went to Hometown. They didn't have it either. But, they took something close and adapted it to work. I'm looking forward to having another problem so I can go back to Hometown Hardware!

Mike and all the staff are extremely polite and knowledgeable. I have only lived in Brush for 3 years but long enough to know they are the best in town. They go the Xtra mile to help with any needs, you don't find that at big box stores anymore.

The gentleman that works on the rental equipment in the back shop is very, very knowledgeable about the merchandise carried in the store and way to courteous to be kept in the shop area. Management and other employees should follow his example of being a PEOPLE person and get out from behind the counter and see if customers need help looking for items. I only wish that I had got the gentleman's name. I will certainly seek him out the next time I shop there.
