9/15/2024 - I am so so proud of Sock. He his a graduate of Megan's Canine Good Citizen class. Here we are at a street fair in Fort Collins. We walked a couple of miles through bicycles and children and children on bikes and people milling around and food trucks and he was as cool as a cucumber. He was just such a little gentleman. Thank you High Plains K-9 Connections LLC for getting us here!! AND Sock got a Pup Cup to celebrate

8/24/2024 - Sock and I are almost finished with Canine Good Citizen. He is doing SO great! I love Megan's teaching and that in the summer the classes are outside. The dogs just learn so much more..

6/25/2024 - I just finished Obedience 2 with my dog Sock and the class was terrific. Megan is an innovative trainer. Sock really progressed. Next comes Canine Good Citizen. In the latest picture. Sock is just chilling under the table at a local brewery. Although he still doesn't like pets much in this kink of atmosphere, at least he's able to relax and take a nap. I wish I could give Megan a 10 star rating.

I struggled and struggled with my reactive pup. But with only a short amount of time with High Plains k-9 Connections and he is a different dog. Here he is chilling while I am chatting with a worker bee at Home Depot. 2 months ago, this wouldn't have been such a happy picture. Thank you Megan and crew.

I wish we would have found Megan earlier (our dog was 13 months when we started) but she has taught us and our dog, Lady Charlotte (Charly), so much! We've taken 2 classes and are now ready for the Canine Good Citizen course. Can't say enough about how great her training has been! She is so patient and you can feel her love of dogs! Highly recommend no matter what the age of your pup!

What a jewel I have found in HPK9C!! My 6 month old Lab, Louie, and I will start our 3rd class soon….Canine Good Citizen. Megan has done a wonderful job in training me to train Louie. She is patient and fun and helps us work magic with our pups. Meg is also quick to return calls and texts anytime I need to contact her. That is a customer service not found often, these days. I highly recommend this very professional trainer!

I spent the summer working with our new puppy, Mira, but we noticed many inconsistencies and holes in her listening. After reading other reviews of High Plains we signed up for the puppy kindergarten class and I so thankful we did! Megan is so patient, caring, and knowledgeable. The way she instructs is clear and easy to follow, which built not only my confidence in working with Mira, but the confidence in Mira as well. The way she builds on known skills each week was fantastic! Our puppy goes with us to softball tournaments on the weekends, and the number of compliments about her improved behavior and ability to listen in chaos increased each week. I am so excited to build on these skills with the next class we take and will never regret the time in her classes!

Megan has been so helpful as we navigate training. She is knowledgeable, great at providing feedback and truly cares about the dogs and their owners.

We have done two 6 week obedience courses (Beginner lvl 1& lvl 2) & bring our puppy in for daycare/socialization every week - we started when our puppy was 4 months old and not only has he learned so much - so have we!

We did a 3 week board and train for our 1 year old GSP. We were wanting her to be able to do off leash with a collar as we enjoy taking her on our adventures. Upon leaving the program she is listening and responding to what we ask of her. We have been practicing off leash with her and the proof is evident that Megan trained her very well in a very short time. All of our dogs do amazing at over night boarding as well. We highly recommend High Plains!

Megan is a wonderful and enthusiastic trainer of both dogs and their humans! Our pup has completely transformed since starting to work with her in group classes, and Megan has always gone above and beyond to offer additional support and resources to help with individual needs. Her love of dogs shines through her work (and our dog LOVES her too)! Highly recommend!!
