I have been to several performances at the HMTC. I loved the opportunity given to local actors to practice their craft. I also have attended the Dia De Los Muertos event each year at the Hanford Mall. What an amazing cultural event they bring to the city. It is very well organized and the music and dancing is top notch.

Stop by and try out their free acting classes. Nothing is free anymore but acting classes are. I applaud anyone who bring culture and entertainment to local communities. Nothing builds communities more than getting together and laughing or discussing feelings after seeing a great play or performance.

HMTC is a fine little home town theater. Sylvia has done a great job of creating a venue for all ages with a diversity of culture and a variety of functions that benefit the community of Hanford. The comedy shows are great, the plays are intriguing and the venue is definitely unique. The classic downtown building, housed the original Deluxe Cleaners and Sylvia has done a great job of converting this space into a nice theater environment.

I LOOOOOVE this theatre! They are so open minded and let everyone and anyone participate in their plays. It’s such an awesome place for artistic people of different backgrounds. Silvia works so hard to make sure everyone feels welcome and it shows, because the people keep coming back. And best of all, it’s ALL free! You don’t pay a dime!!! Thank you for bringing the arts to Hanford! I loooove it here and I will keep coming back for years to come!

HMTC is a gem in the city of Hanford. Hanford finally had a place where we can act, improv, puppeteer and be creative. If you have not stopped by for one of the free acting classes you definitely should!

I would always complain about how there's nothing to do in Hanford , untill I found this place, I constantly look forward to the comedy shows as well as the improv session , greatest non-profit in the valley that I've came across, look Forward to every HMTC event.
