We have been bringing our dogs to Kathy for almost ten years now! When we used to live in the area, I needed somewhere to bring our new adoptee who needed daycare so she could be busier and happier. Kathy was great at reducing her dog reactivity and helping her obedience. She was SO excited to go there each daycare day! We moved out of the area four years ago, and got an additional dog, but insist on making the almost hour drive to bring our dogs to Kathy and Gypsy Glen when we travel. They absolutely love spending so much playtime outside and in all of the space, and my big dog loves to swim. We know Gypsy Glen will take excellent care of our pups when we travel to Ireland this summer. Our big dog sure misses “Ms. Kathy” as we call her at home 🙂. They are fantastic, and we will continue to make the drive to bring our dogs.

We've been dropping our dogs off with Kathy for years! Her and her staff are amazing. I know nobody is going to treat Evie & Green Bean with the level of care they get here. Love this place!

When I dropped off my dog nobody was there.
The lights were off in the kennel area, and radio music was playing loudly.
We called the owner and she yelled at us for bringing the dog early, I guess she is the only one who looks after the dogs and had an "emergency" and wouldn't be back for some time yet.
We were instructed to leave our dog in the kennel ourselves. While she was kenneled there our dog was given supplements without our knowledge or consent. We received no status updates. When I came to pickup the dog the owner held me hostage in her cluttered and filthy "office" while she rambled on for almost 45 minutes and struggled to find our paperwork. When she finally found it I watched her hold the paperwork in her hands for fifteen minutes while she scolded me about my dogs behavior. I could not get my dog and myself out of there fast enough. We tried out gypsy glen because it had good reviews and was cheaper than the Barrington Tailchasers that we take our dog to regularly. We will never take her back to Gypsy glen, we will gladly pay extra for tail chasers, where we receive frequent updates with pictures, and when we pickup our dog the staff tell us how much fun they have playing with her.

I’m convinced all the positive reviews this place has are friends of the owners trying to help save her business because this experience was so awful. I’ve read other reviews that the owner gives supplements to pets without knowledge or comment from owners. So our situation was not an isolated event, but a frequent behavior of the owner. Stay away!!

We have been taking our fur baby to Gypsy Glen for 7 years since we adopted him. Kathy has given numerous tips to keep our dog happy and healthy - from natural dog treats, exercises to training instructions. Given Kathy's background of training K9 for police and fire, our dog is always better behaved when he comes home. We trust Kathy to keep up with the same level of discipline we give our dog. Kathy has been generous with samples of treats and food items so our dog can try different things before we purchase them.

The staff is also very conscientious about making sure that the fur babies are in good health when they stay at Gypsy Glen so all other fur babies don't get sick. We always have to provide proof of yearly vaccinations, which gives us peace of mind that our dog is safe from potential life-threatening illnesses.

Kathy was so wonderful with our dogs, both rescues with kennel anxiety. They were very much at ease when we dropped them off and picked them up. The facility is clean, and Kathy and her staff are very attentive. They don't just make sure the dogs are fed and let out - they truly care for your pet as if they were theirs. We will not take our dogs anywhere else!!
