Good Karma Dog Training -

we recently rescued a red nose pit that was about 8-10 months old, still a puppy. She was so full of love and excitement and energy! I interviewed several dog training companies and decided to go w Good Karma. Margo was an angel sent from heaven for us!! She was so amazing and accommodating. When she left after the first session we had a new dog on our hands!!! You will be so happy with the results if you hire her.

For the past year and half we have a wonderful experience with Good Karma Dog training. Margo and her team go beyond dog training but also really cares about the dog, the owners and the environmental factors that can positively impact the dog and the families. Always calm, non judgmental, professional and very understanding of every dog’s issues and also the owners. We brought to her our reactive dog (after being attacked by other dog/s) and since the 1st training the change was noticeable. We are already part of the pack walks where multiple clients join, learning discipline and teaching us and the pups a way to have a wonderful lifestyle that includes our companions. Puppy training classes are amazing as well. And she assist with training shelter dogs, making sure they find a forever family and have a happy ending. I am the President of Grateful Heart Animal Sanctuary in Big Bear City. I hired Margo to come up to Grateful Heart Animal Sanctuary in Big Bear to help us train our Livestock Guardian Dog, Gus, who is a Great Pyrenees puppy basic obedience. They are known to be very headstrong! We hired her because I had personally hired her to help train my little Chinese Crested Powderfuff several years ago and to train my son's Golden retriever and had tremendous results with both of those experiences. Gus was going to be one of our livestock guardian dogs at the sanctuary so it was very important that he be trained properly. Margo was amazing! Even though Gus was super rambunctious, she was able to get him focused. She taught me how to go about training him the proper way for his breed type. I would work with him daily, because if you don’t they aren’t going to learn and neither are you no matter who the trainer is. Gus progressed nicely as each training session reinforced the previous one and added a little bit more because Gus was ready. Margo does not force a dog to progress on a timeline because each dog is different and it’s not a race. I think that’s one of the reasons why her training is so successful. Gus is now a wonderful livestock guardian dog for all of our livestock rescues! He comes when I call him, sits when I ask, waits when I ask and he even knows the code word that I give to let him know a person is okay to be on the property. Margo is an amazing trainer!!! I highly recommend her!!!

Margo is responsible for our happy pack. I was referred to her by a Deputy who trusted Margo with his dogs. We rescued two german shepherds and she helped us so much, no more jumping, steeling food off the counters, pulling on a leash. Kids can easily walk my 90lb shepherds, she helped socialize our dogs with people and other dogs, we can take them to restaurants/ hotels. We did a few private sessions and she gives you her undivided attention She is extremely knowledgeable, truly cares and is so much more affordable than other places. She is experienced in helping dogs with behavioral issues/aggression. She is now helping us train our third dog.

Margo’s ability to read a dog’s behavior and teach their human how to handle and correct is amazing. She is passionate about all dogs and the people who love them. My pup Otis was extremely reactive, so much so, he always wore a muzzle when we went out. Margo taught me how to read his body language. She taught me how to correct it and communicate with Otis. He no longer wears a muzzle and chooses to ignore instead of trying to attack. He’s happy and confident now.

Margo is the only trainer I have trusted with my dogs. She immediately connects with the dog and teaches me how to correct bad behavior. She is so smart and patient. The world is a much better place because of Margo Perryman. She is the top trainer and the dogs are so lucky to have her?

Margo is very knowledgeable, caring and in my pups case very patient. My family used her services with multiple pets over the years. I love that she not only helps our pups but us as humans, to try to better understand one another and work as one. If I were to consider getting a new pup I would definitely seek an opportunity to fit into one her classes.

Amazing and personable dog loving trainer. Margo has a very relaxed and low key approach to teaching. She doesn't try to put all dogs into the same "box" she understands every dog is an individual. Our dogs love her and they love going to the group walks which vary in location weekly.
