We are BEYOND grateful for Adam and Good Dog OC. Before our little pup Simba started working with him, he was incredibly reactive, barking at any dog that walked close to him. Within a week, Adam had completely transformed his behavior and we immediately saw a more confident and happy pup. We also couldn't believe how fast he learned all the basic commands under Adam's guidance, and Adam's commitment to not only Simba's training, but to ours as well was remarkable. He made sure to do as many follow up sessions as we needed so we felt confident with all the commands too, so we can't thank him enough for transforming our boy into a pup who can now live the good dog life! Adam is clearly an animal lover who wants nothing but the best for his clients so can assure you, you will not be disappointed!

Adam is amazing. My 120lb aggressive pitbull named Taco would go after every dog and small child. I was at my wits end and thought I might have to put my best friend down out of fear that he would get away from me and actually hurt someone.

After 5 minutes, Taco was ignoring dogs walking near him, and was a great, well behaved companion until he passed from cancer last year.

You won't find a trainer that cares more, or gets better results than Good Dog OC. They are well worth the price if you care for your fur-baby.

Adam was amazing. Our little guy needed a few tweaks to his behavior and Adam provided the necessary insight that we implemented right away. Not only does Adam train your pup but if you have no clue or have never trained a dog he will have you trained up as well.

I wish I could give Adam more than 5 stars. We adopted our dog, Bruno about 6 months ago from a rescue organization. He came from a hoarding situation (over 40 dogs!) and up until a few weeks ago, only bonded with my husband. He was scared of everybody and everything including me. He wouldn't let me pet him or even feed him.

We knew he needed some training and did ALOT of research - many folks we contacted would not help us and told us it was an "upward battle." After finding Adam, we became hopeful. He spent an hour doing a consultation with us (which is free) to hear us out and give us some tips. We decided that we wanted to have Adam help us with the training and its been one of the best decisions we've ever made. I'll be honest, I was skeptical - could behavior training really change how Bruno felt about me? Would he always be this way? It was honestly heart breaking thinking that he would never want a relationship with me.

We aren't concluded with the program and Bruno is already coming to me for pets, eating out of my hand and wags his tail when he sees me. I can't begin to explain how happy/relieved this makes me. Bruno still has a way to go in some other issues, but honestly we can tell he's happier too (a win- win for both Bruno and us). I am so hopeful now that with additional training we can address all of his insecurities.

Adam is kind, patient, incredibly knowledgeable and truly loves animals. He is not only patient with Bruno, he's incredibly patient with us, always explaining things to us multiple times if needed. He's a great communicator via text and in person and flexible around our schedule. He's a very talented dog trainer, and would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody. If you are stressed/anxious and want a better relationship with your dog, please call Adam. I'm convinced he can help any dog live the good dog life! 🙂

I cannot thank Adam enough for the changes in behavior I’m already seeing. I’ve dropped a good amount of $$$$ on prior trainers who “specialized in mini Aussies”- who “swore they could get past her anxiety.” Tried day schooling. I even had a vet tell me to go to a dog psychiatrist who was $500 for a 1/2 hour session. Misa is scared of everything and has massive stranger danger fears. Car rides give us both a headache, and even trying to walk her to and from the car is a chore (so imagine daily walks). After 2 months of working with Adam, we decided to take a trip up to Big Bear. This was the easiest time (1) getting her in and out of the car, (2) car ride in general, and (3) mini stop for stretch break. I know it will only get better as she get in this new routine.

His methods are positive training based, and you can tell he genuinely loves all the dogs he works with. Like I said, Misa is scared of everything, but she likes him. ‍♀️ I regret not starting her with him from the beginning. And yes, he’s worth the cost because it works.

Dog: mini Aussie (f)
Age: 3 years old.

PS. Yes, my consult was also over the phone, but Adam gave so much information initially FOR FREE. Lots of basic training tips and tricks, so even if I didn't choose to go with him, he still leaves you with tips to make your dog better. Who else would do this except someone who just wants the best for dogs?

Adam is an amazing trainer! He helped us achieve all our goals for our puppy, Charlie. We have the happiest, most secure puppy because he understands our rules, boundaries, and expectations for him. Because of Adam's training, we know we can trust Charlie when we are out in busy public places, which allows us all, Charlie included, to just relax and enjoy being out and about together. We highly recommend Good Dog OC!

After extensive research for a professional team to provide advanced training for ADA service dog certification, we confidently selected Good Dog OC and Adam’s team.

There are many online resources which can be retained for training and subsequent certification. Each group has its opinions and protocol on best practices to accomplish what's necessary.
In our case, we have a senior family member who has a lifetime disease requiring the trained compassionate skills of a service dog.

Upon our review and contacting five businesses who specialize in training, we began the process of selecting the group we believe would be the best team.
We met with two of the five resources before our meeting with Adam from Good Dog OC. The other sources we phoned and discussed their preferred processes.

Suffice it to say, our phone conversation and meeting with Adam resulted in selecting Good Dog OC for counseling and instruction.
Whether basic training, or more sophisticated steps are needed, i.e., service dog training, I am pleased to provide the highest recommendation to Adam and his team at Good Dog OC.

Let’s call it what it is…we adore our four-legged family member. He’s as much a part of our family as love allows.
Most importantly, we need the serious help for the disabled senior member of our family to be accompanied by a trained service animal.

Adam’s expertise is undeniable.
His compassion, knowledge, and concern about details makes him and his team the true “go to” group for any dog training.
There are no surprises as far as costs. Adam and the team are paid by their performance. Tangible results matter! Good Dog OC is the winning group!

Adam is transparent and more than honorable when discussing costs. It’s very refreshing during inflationary times to have the respect of professionals such as Adam.
My genuine appreciation to you Adam, and your team for exceeding expectations and bringing the important “comfort” in our lives!
Adam, you are a five-star champion in your training approach and process.
Stay the course and keep blessing families with your work.
