This was my puppy’s first time getting professionally groomed. They treated her with patience and care. Result: She looked beautiful and was very happy!

My husband and I are currently visiting in Santee and wasn’t sure where to go to have our Yorkie groomed. I search online for top groomers in the area, still not sure if the groomer would be able to do a nice cut as many facilities have issues with the Yorkie cuts. I gave my husband a picture to give the groomer to reference for Lucas’s hair cut and I have to say I am super impressed. The groomer was amazing and his cut was the best he has ever had. I would highly recommend there team. The only down side was I didn’t ask how long it would take and he was there for 3 1-2 hours but I know they took great care of him so I am ok with that for future appointments.
I wish they had a salon in North County.

I take my long haired baby to Purrology for a cat bath and trim, they are so good with her! She comes out calm and relaxed, smelling good and neatly trimmed up (depending on her tolerance on the day).
They are really good "cat people" and take notice of if she is getting stressed and what she will and won't tolerate during the visit and adjust accordingly for my older fur baby.
Absolutely love them and look forward to each time I go in, knowing my baby is taken good care of.

We have been taking our pups here since they opened. The owners and the rest of the staff are amazing. They take great care of our dogs and always make them feel comfortable, especially the skittish one. The entire staff is super friendly and funny and we always love coming in. This is our go to joint for pet grooming and should be yours, too!!

My cat, Mr. Bear is a muscular, extra alpha, extra strong, extra large cat and hates to be held. He can overpower and jump out of your arms. I forewarned when I called to schedule that he may be challenging. They were so sweet and shared how experienced everyone is. When I arrived, I forewarned again. He was a PURfect angel and his nails were trimmed in less than 10 mins. The staff was friendly and great with my FURbaby. We will be going back. Thank you.

My cat, Buttercup, stayed at the Santee facility while the movers were picking up my household goods for a move to Texas. Since this also included my car, she had to spend the night until my daughter could arrive in town. Buttercup received the best care possible. She spent some time in their sun room which is where she was when I picked her up. Staff was friendly and caring. Facility was clean and safe for my baby.

I cannot recommend this grooming salon. This pains me to write. I had been coming to FURology for about two years. My dog’s groomer, Destinie, was phenomenal. She had him on a regular schedule and knew what I wanted with his grooming. I've never had any issues before this incident.

Unfortunately, one day I picked him up from his appointment and his eye was shut. I wasn't told that there was an issue or if anything happened during his groom. I brought him home and within minutes, his eye was swelling and was double its size. I called FURology and asked if his eye was like this the entire time. They explained that it could have been a hair that entered his eye and was causing irritation. I was told to come back to FURology for them to rinse his eye. As soon as I pulled up, someone came outside to take him in. His groomer Destinie, came outside where I was standing and went to go grab Janelle from the salon next door. At no point, did Destinie talk or acknowledge me. Not even 5 minutes later, Janelle came out and handed me my dog and said “i don't know what to tell you”. She told me to monitor him and if his eye was the same in the morning, to take him into the vet. I was shocked to say the least. How is it possible that I dropped my dog off in the morning and he was in perfect health, and when I picked him up his eye was swollen shut. I was livid. I ended up taking my dog into the vet and they told me he had a significantly large cut on his eye. The doctor told me there was a big possibility that he would loose his eye. I was terrified for my little dude. As soon as I spoke with the vet, I sent Janelle and Destinie a text on it. They told me to give them a call when I could. Janelle said that she checked with the groomers to see if something happened, and of course no one owned up to anything.

My dog ended up being on a cocktail of medication and eye drops for weeks. We had to check in with the vet often just to see how he was doing. Luckily, I have him at an amazing Vet clinic and the Doctor was incredible. We were able to save his eye and get him back to 100%.

I've worked with animals for a very long time, accidents happen all of the time, but you ALWAYS let the owner know what happened. I used my judgement to take my dog in right away because eye issues can be significant. However, if this would have happened to someone else who isn't aware of the severity of the situation, their animal could have lost an eye.

FURology responded well and actually paid for our vet bill. I'm thankful for that, but I would rather have wanted honesty from his groomer Destinie. Money doesn't mean anything when it comes to the health and safety of your fur family. I'm disappointed and hurt that this incident occurred and no one told me anything. No one was honest with me and now my dog has this trauma from this grooming incident.

I can no longer recommend this grooming salon to anyone. If you care about the health and safety of your pet, and would like to know of any issues going on during the groom, TAKE YOUR PET SOMEWHERE ELSE. Provided are photos of my dog, the first one I took the morning of his appointment, the second was when I picked him up after the groom, the final one is him at the vet. You don't want your animal to go through this, it's extremely heartbreaking, please do not put your fur babies at risk.
