Natalie was the instructor for puppy training when our dog was just a few months old. We hired her privately and her instruction was priceless! She helped with obedience and recall which were major for us as he was a larger breed dog and I am a very petite person. Without Natalie's guidance, I would not have near the result as he was my first dog to train. I love the process/style that she uses and highly recommend her and her company.

Natalie spent time with me on the phone and then did a meet & greet for our rescue Wheaten Terrier who has fear and anxiety issues (came from a puppy mill and then was either abused or abandoned). She offered so much helpful advice and showed so much caring - it gave us the sense we were doing the right things with him. Most importantly, we knew she would be an ongoing resource for us as we progress. We didn't feel all alone in this venture with our rescue dog. Natalie's knowledge and her spirit are unmatched. Having just getting my first puppy and being new to the training experience, Friends for Life; Holistic Pet Training was a great help. Natalie and Jenn are very positive trainers. I only took the puppy training class but I plan on taking their obedience training class coming up here soon. I would recommend Natalie and Jenn to anyone who has just gotten a puppy and needs help with some basic training or even a little bit of an older dog to try the obedience training. They create an environment that the pups love to go to and yet the dogs also understand that they are there to learn and develop new skills. We had an incredible experience we had with Natalie & Jenn! We adopted two large rescue dogs and we had some pretty intense challenges! These ladies gave us an immediate sense of calm and things to do in both the short and long term to assist all of us with this big adjustment. Natalie has great patience and gentleness regarding the training of pups. She understood what having a bull terrier puppy involves and was very supportive of one step at a time!! Our puppy class with her taught me a lot and that is certainly essential, right? I look forward to working with her more so that I may be a better trained human. Natalie is amazing with dogs and their people. Her training methods are full of love and kindness, and they are extremely effective. She patiently explains how you need to correct YOUR behaviour so that our 4-legged friends understand what you're asking them to do. I can't recommend her highly enough.
She told me once that she wants her dogs to enjoy being with her. What a refreshing viewpoint! She has made a positive impact on our lives, and I'm ever so grateful.
