We have had a great experience with Kelly and her training methods. Kelly has assisted us in training Cooper's recall, socializing him, and preparing him for dog daycare. We have had Cooper for just short of three months. When we first got him, he was extremely shy and timid around both people and dogs. Since getting him and beginning training, he has become more confident and come out of his shell. We would highly recommend Kelly's services, as she understands what each individual dog will require!

I took my German Shepard puppy months ago to Fresh Start and over the weeks Kelly helped me know what to do to handle certain behavior issues. My GS isn’t 2 years old yet but I continue to do so many things Kelly told me to do and I have seen progress. One tip that is so important Kelly told me is to be consistent. And I am. Kelly has trained 2 dogs for us, both Standard Poodles. A very important thing she does is “train the parents” we are glad to have this knowledge. She is an amazing trainer. We live on a very busy road with a sidewalk - lots of people & dogs walking by all day- Kelly trained both our dogs to stay in our yard without being on a leash. I have had many people walking by Say “ that is the best behaved dog I have ever seen”!

Kelly is a true professional who uses primary research to validate her results. We are only half-way through with our pup, but it's evident that we had been inadvertently doing things that were reinforcing the very behaviors we were trying to correct. Willing to take three puppies last minute when my puppy care plans derailed with a change in work schedule. Very nice facility in the country. Her kennels were almost filled to capacity with happy, calm dogs.

My scared puppies were calm and relaxed within minutes of working with Kelly. I am very confident they are in good hands.

Update: Puppies boarded for three weeks and came home happy!

Kelly has been a part of our now 3 year old pups lives since they were 7 months. She knew exactly the need of the breed (Pointers) which consists of lots of activities, plenty of exercise, and good direction!! She knew we had no clue what we had gotten ourselves into with 2 pups from the same litter and was so patient as we navigated through her training sessions. She knew she had to train us more than she had to train our pups. We are grateful for her guidance and her love for our pups. We trust her wholeheartedly and board our pups with her when we travel. They love her!

I was ready to give up on our Jack Russell. I did everything I knew to do. I read books, watched training videos, I even contacted the breeder to find out if there were issues with other pups in this litter and if she had any ideas on how to control her behavior but our Daisy was uncontrollable. She was a runner, a fighter and in total control of us and our other pet.

And for the past 9 years, Daisy has been a delight and a loved member of our family.
