LaShannda has been absolutely amazing! We have an older, very large dog, Maggie, that is picky about who she lets in her inner circle. LaShannda quickly bonded with Maggie, so much that Maggie prances around showing off all her toys when she visits. During the first trip we took Maggie needed a recheck at the vet and when we asked LaShannda if she could take her, it was no problem. We have had periodic day visits and over 3 weeks of overnight visits, all which we are 100% satisfied. When we come home after visits the house looks as if we hadn't left. We approached her knowing she offered a licensed and bonded service. We also knew we needed an exceptional person as we were experiencing challenging behavior from our youngest dog and needed to build a relationship with a dog sitter who would follow the guidance provided by an animal behaviorist. Both our dogs suffer from separation anxiety and were not accustomed to being alone. Our aim was to start with visits to get both dogs familiar with her, eventually progressing to a two-week overnight service and mid-day check-ins.

Right from the beginning, it was evident that LaShannda had the unique skills to quickly build a strong rapport with both our dogs. It was incredible to see how positively they reacted to her—something we had never seen before with other sitters. She promptly established a routine for our dogs.

The real test came when we embarked on a two-week international trip three months after LaShannda started. We arranged for her to provide overnight care and 60-minute mid-day visits throughout our absence. LaShannda kept us well-informed with regular updates, including texts and photos. The dogs were clearly enjoying themselves and showed no signs of missing us! They were relaxed and anxiety-free, allowing us to enjoy a worry-free vacation. Upon our return, our dogs were happy and calm, which was more than we could have hoped for. I saw this firsthand when LaShannda visited the day after we got back—the dogs greeted her with the same enthusiastic welcome they had given us the day before, filling my heart with joy.

In addition to taking care of our dogs, LaShannda also looked after our freshwater and tropical fish, which were in excellent health when we returned.

In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend Four Paws and Exotics Pet Sitting. We continue to use their services for weekly visits.

so easy to schedule, and reasonably priced! Before the assignment, LaShanna came to my home to meet with me and I tried to introduce my cats - some are a little scared of strangers, but they eventually came out! LaShannda was prompt and took very good care of my 4 cats. She reached out if there was something unusual and, of course, cleaned up any spills that happened! LaShannda has taken care of our family pets for many years and we have had spectacular results. We have four dogs and two cats so she had her hands full but since the creatures all love her, they behaved for her. LaShannda plays fetch with our dogs and if the cats are so inclined, they fetch too. LaShannda is very responsible, hard working, honest & loyal. We will continue to use her as long as we have pets.
