Barbara has always been so sweet and attentive to my two pups! Being new to the area came with challenges such as looking for a pet sitter. Barbara met my girls (a Doberman and Pomeranian) and they acted instantly at home. Ms. Barbara has watched my girls a few times now and has always been so sweet and attentive even when my Pom needed extra care. I can always count on her for last minute care. I couldn’t trust anyone else!

I have an English bulldog named Aries and let me tell you... My girl is stage 5 CLINGY. She loves her mama, as I love her... But sometimes mom needs a break. Barbara is the ONLY person in this world I trust explicitly with my girls well being and her life. Aries hates car rides... But when we pull up in the driveway at Barbara's she instantly perks up, forgetting her pity party she throws herself while in the car... And she is EXCITED! Barbara also calls and FaceTimes me when Aries is with her just so I know everything is okay and so I can give my poopy-puppy some virtual love. I can't recommend anyone more than I can Barbara. She's been a true Blessing and I am so thankful she is apart of Aries life.

The proprietor of Forney Pet Sitter is a very sweet woman named Barbara. Barbara almost always responds like lightning to texts whenever I go to set up a daycare stay or an overnight or two for my big little girl Lucy. Whenever I go out of town, which is every other weekend just about, I look forward to letting Lucy hang out at Barbara's so she can run around in the large, secure outdoor space Barbara has and play with other dogs that come to stay with Barbara.

Whenever I have questions about Lucy's stay (like which pups she got to play with) or whether she noticed any unusual changes in behavior, Barbara responds promptly and thoroughly. Whenever she reaches out to confirm pick-up times, she always starts the message by reassuring me that Lucy is doing well -- she even sends pictures -- because (I'm speculating), I bet she knows that when her clients see her name pop up on the phone that they could think something bad has happened. You just don't find that sort of forethought and care among customer service providers these days.

I know yall get excited that these corporate joints have web cams that you can click into and watch, but in my experience, they're also crowded, equipped with the absolute bare minimum of toys; they can't hold a candle to Barbara's personalized customer service; their version of "outdoor" play stretches the meaning of the word; pick-up and drop-off times are always more restrictive; and to top it all off, they're more expensive. And fuhgettaboutit if you have a big dog like I do.

I've lived in Rockwall, just west of Forney, for a year now. There has been a single occasion where Barbara was not available to watch my Lucy girl, out of probably, 20-25 stays by now. On many of those occasions, my travel plans came down last minute and Barbara hasn't ever batted an eye at these last minute bookings.

My dog is extremely spoiled and I love her dearly so where she stays while I'm away is a BIG DEAL. That said, I can recommend Barbara whole heartedly with zero reservations. Why you would take your furry loved ones to one of these corporatized retail places in a strip center somewhere when Barbara just doesn't make sense to me.

Barbara is an excellent communicator; she's exceptionally flexible; Lucy always comes back home exhausted from getting to play with other pups (with no negative incidents to report at all); she just blesses me with a whole other level of peace of mind. I'm extremely grateful that she takes such good care of my baby.

Barbara has taken care of my dogs and cats for years in my home and more recent they lived with her 6 weeks at her home. I was in transition from selling my home in Forney and relocating to a new job in Euless but my place wasn’t ready yet and I stayed with a friend. My dogs LOVE her and did really well there along with other dogs there. I’ve been in animal rescue a long time and around many different levels of animal care and mine received only the best! Her husband and son are also wonderful people and so reassuring knowing they are with her. I’m just sad I don’t have her in Tarrant county

We've used Barbara as a pet sitter 4 or 5 times and have always had a great experience.
Our dog is somewhat skittish around people but she absolutely loves Barbara and her family.
Barbara has been available to watch our dog on short notice and has been more than willing to work with our schedule for drop-offs and pick-ups; she even texts us while Sasha is staying there to keep us updated and/or to check to see how we’re doing.
As others have mentioned, Barbara has a huge fenced in area and a smaller area where the dogs can run and play; of course, this is when Sasha isn’t being pampered inside their house.
We recently had Barbara watch our dog for a week and she came home looking better than when we dropped her off; she smelled clean and looked as if she had been brushed.
As someone who views their pet are part of the family, I can say that I feel completely confident leaving Sasha with Barbara and would recommend her pet sitting service to my closest friends and family.

BEWARE of Barbara & her pet sitting services. My sister in law boarded her 2 small dogs with Barbara & she let a pit bull outside with 2 small dogs. One was horrifically injured & she did not notify my sister in law until after 24 hours. The dog went into emergency surgery & DIED 5 hours later. This dog needlessly suffered in pain. Barbara is a dog killer who does not care & should be shut down.

Barbara has been watching my dog for a couple years now. I have a large boxer/pit bull mix who is used to having quite a bit of room to run (& is pretty spoiled, I have to admit), so I wanted someone reliable & trustworthy who I felt would spoil my ‘little’ fur baby like I would - along with some room to run. (So, no apartment) I found that person and more in Barbara. When I drop my dog off, she’s happy to go - which has not always been the case at other places - and she’s happy, healthy (& admittedly, a little dirty) when I pick her up. This tells me that she’s been able to run and play. When we leave our dog, it is usually for 2+ weeks. Barbara will text us pictures and give us updates on her while we are gone. It always makes my kids smile to see their “puppy”.

Overall, I would highly recommend Barbara as a caring, compassionate, professional dog sitter.

!!AVOID!! I hope Barbara is never given responsibility of an animal again. She left a big dog whom she was told CANNOT be around small dogs with a small dog. Of course that dog violently attacked the small dog. That's not the big dog's fault - that's all on Barbara.

Not only did she ignore this crucial requirement, but she didn't seek medical care for the dog in critical condition. She didn't tell the owner until the next day and only after the owner pleaded with her to take her dog to the ER did she finally do that. The little dog was immediately rushed into emergency surgery and died because her injuries were so severe.

The dog's sibling who witnessed the attack is having massive anxiety attacks and is now medicated to help control the anxiety and vomiting.

Come to find out, this is not the first animal to die under her care!
