We completed Puppy Basic Classes with Matt in Feb 2025. We are very thankful because he helped us start our 4 month old Collie mix pup Roxanne training. Our pup started classes with a lot of energy who would bark constantly from excitement, Matt guided us on how to train basic commands around her energy. Matt also recommend drop in classes that has helped us figure out our pup’s personality and need. We will continue working on her leash and barking excitement before we return for more basic training. Thank you Matt & For Your K9. Awfully Adolescents was the absolute best bridge between puppy class and further obedience and sports! Liz really took the time to get to know our individual dogs and concerns and tailored our activities, homework, and class time accordingly. The class was more about helping our dogs through the rough times when their “thinking brains” are harder to access rather than straight up obedience, and Liz gave us a bunch of ways to build muscle memory in our dogs so they have good instincts and behaviors to fall back on when they get stressed. It’s such a perfect environment for our little “teenagers”, I can not recommend the class enough! Seriously, whether you’re currently struggling or just looking for where to go after finishing puppy class, Awfully Adolescents is the perfect class!

Fantastic place to train your dog and yourself. I've only seen positive reinforcement which is great. I'm doing agility here and I've been very happy with how the class is run by Angie, she's super respectful of those in the class and helps a lot with improving / going over different approaches. Would recommend!

Highly recommend this school. We have taken a number of diffrent classes here. Most recently we have been in the Scared to prepared class with Bri. This is an advanced level course and has been useful with making our dog more comfortable around people. Bri has been very patient and creative in helping us navigate our rescue pups issues. The best part is our dog loves going there so its fun for everyone.

A couple months ago, my Mom brought our new 6 month old rescue here for training. He was exhibiting aggressiveness to strangers and just overall very untrusting. He is the sweetest dog at home but struggles with people in public. When we brought our dog for an evaluation here, very quickly the trainer said she assumed him to be developmentally delayed and that "it wasn't looking good" for our dog. After being basically told put down our dog, we immediately left the trainer. Now our dog is two years old and we have discovered what the trainer assumed to be "developmental disabilities" were actually a result of abuse and neglect early in his life. Instead of punishing him for his past we helped him work through his issues. We sought out the proper trainer who was willing to invest the time in our dog and he has come a very long way. He is far from perfect but we gave him a chance and he's a very happy dog. He was worth it and thankfully we were able to look past this quick and incorrect evaluation and save him from the fate the trainer suggested. If your dog has any actual behavioral issues I wouldn't take them here.

Really impressed with the instructors here. It's rare I find people who know more about dogs than I do, and these folks definitely know! They take a very loving approach and I would recommend anyone taking their pups here!

We took our dog to the From Scared to Prepared class as she barks at other dogs and people she doesn't know. The instructor, Brianne, was very knowledgeable and helpful. We received a lot of good information and techniques from her and these have already helped our dog. Highly recommend this class and the instructor Brianne.
