I was pleasantly surprised by how good Janet takes care of her pups n moms. I got my new girl from her and I'm already thinking I need another. Very healthy, bright eyed, skin and coat are shiny and in good shape. She came paper trained, awesome! Very social girl also. Thank you Janet!!

Got fig 2 years ago from flick kennels where he was introduced to his other brother Dax. he is the most athletic dog ever his side eye is hilarious for all to see. He is my first ever dog I bought on my own and I love and care for him every day (he’s a toy addict btw).

Got back to my email fast. Just not so sure about sending a deposit when the puppy I want isn't even born or available to see first. I can wait. I would rather leave a deposit for something I have seen and know I want. Good prices and was given a good reference for them though. They are in Colorado.

I purchased a sibling set in December of 2019. Both puppies vomited multiple times on the way home and had blood in their stool that rapidly worsened. Janet knew she sold me very sick puppies. The contract guarantees no Parvo, both tested positive for Parvo and Giardia at the well check following their pickup from FlicKennel, both were hospitalized with one staying over a week in ICU. The contract you sign will not reimburse you for vet bills even if contract is broken regarding guarantee of no Parvo. Beware, the language is tricky, they will allow you to trade your dog in these circumstances. In my situation, my dogs received good vet care and miraculously survived (but continue to have high maintenance intestinal issues at 3 years old), after everything they survived, there is no way I would trade newly healthy dogs for possibly unhealthy dogs. I notified Flickennel of the diagnosis and provided the vet and specialty hospital contact info, they said they would confirm diagnosis but never got back with me. Horrible experience. I call my dogs my million dollar puppies because I took on unnecessary debt to save their lives and heal them from a diagnosis guaranteed to not occur…they would have quickly died if left at Flickennel. Also note, Janet would not let me see the premises or the mom and dad of my puppies, she said they had been “put away” even though my appointment was scheduled and I drove 2.5 hours to her location. Red flag. Buyer beware. I do love my pups and they have enjoyable temperaments.

We just picked up our puppy, He's so cute!!!! Great communication and customer service. The adoption when nice and smooth. Pay attention when they say print the directions GPS does not work in that area. We are more then Satisfied with our new fur baby. I recommend

Beautiful dogs well taken care of good food. Always on top of vaccinations. Every dog there is friendly lovable and healthy. Nice people running the place also. They know they're dogs. If you go to buy one don't be afraid of the Abominable Snow dog out front. She's a sweetest little girl you could ever meet well sweetest big girl you'll ever meet. Don't forget to rub her belly

Make no mistake – this kennel is a puppy mill in disguise. It may not have been this way in the past, but my experience leaves no doubt about the current state of this business.
From the start we had nothing but problems with this breeder as we tried purchasing what was to be our first puppy, until it died and we were refused a refund.

We placed a deposit on a specific puppy, and a few weeks later we found out that every dog from the litter was trampled to death by their mother. The breeder didn’t even tell us until we asked for an update. We requested a refund of our deposit, but the breeder refused and cited a no-refund contract that we had not signed or agreed to. We did eventually win a credit card charge back, but the breeder fought the whole way. Be warned – apparently PayPal does not have any protection for buyers involving a living animal. You may as well be mailing cash and hoping for the best.

We later found that dogs routinely die at this kennel, which is not acceptable. The owner takes objection to the loaded term “puppy mill”, but I don’t know how else to define a place that cares more about cranking out dogs for revenue than providing a safe, healthy environment. These dogs need help!

We got a light red/golden wirehair from Janet in December2016 to join our 10 yr old dachshund at home. He looked smooth when we got him but his coat changed, but no matter, we love him!! We named him, Scout. He was born from Goldilocks and Cupid. He has a natural sweetness and great temperament. These traits come from not only great parents but a great breeder who knows what she is doing. The conditions in which the dogs live in is questionable but they all look well cared for. Scouts adjustment with us was smooth and he was not nervous at all to come with us. I've given it a 3 only because the living conditions and the amount of dogs on the property was strange, but it would not deter me from purchasing again from Janet.
