I got to meet their birds at a bird expo. All their birds look very healthy, are sweet, and well taken care of. They have a good variety of hand fed parrots, many different species that I didn’t even know of! They keep them very clean and give them a variety of food like pellets & fresh veggies/fruit. They are very knowledgeable and you can tell they really care for their birds. I let them know I am not ready to take a bird home just yet, but they still took the time to answer all my questions and help me prepare for one. I will definitely be purchasing my pet parrot from them in the near future!

Although the place itself is quite small I love that they allow their birds to be out of the cage and able to roam and hang out freely in their space/spot. I can tell the birds are all really happy and they they are well taken care of. I talked to one of the woman and she shared that her husband and his family have been raising birds for over 40 years. She shared that each bird is hand raised and no older than 10 months. She says most of them are still learning to eat on their own and not be hand fed. I will definitely support small businesses like this! It was such an amazing suprise and difference compared to other horribly conditioned pet stores (obviously this isn't a pet store).

Just go to this store if you are looking around. I got my baby sun conure here and I am pleased with the whole experience. The owners are great people, have quality birds, and are generous. I don't leave reviews often, but they deserved a 5-star.

Because it's smaller, it seems they can take care of their birds more than the big, fancy ones up in roseville.

This place is great! The husband and wife that own the place are wonderful. The place is clean, the birds are happy, stuff to play with, clean water, and food. The prices are great! They are very knowledgeable about birds... large or small parrots... they know it all!! I'm hyper sensitive to big parrots and get very very upset if I even hear of one not being taken care of the right way, let alone see it. This place definitely does not make me worry. They have many birds that are still baby's. I just can't say enough good things about this place!

Make this place you to go spot for Exotic birds, the new owners here are very informative and will take the time to hear you out and answer all your questions, the birds are very well kept. The cages are neat and clean, and I was surprised to finally find a spot where the birds are actually fed fruits and vegetables, not just seeds, it is no wonder they look so happy and stress free. Very high quality birds will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in the Sacramento Area! Don’t hesitate to spark a conversation with Alex he’s a great guy who loves birds!

AMAZING! I got my bird around 2 month ago, he is beautiful! They have all different parrots unlike many other places around, they have Lovebirds conures, cockatiels, budgies, exotic budgies, and larger birds as well ! They also provide many bird things, cages, wooden pieces, wooden houses, toys, pallets, seeds, and more! They even gave me free toys !!!!! They are extremely kind and very smart about parrots. They have the options of tamed and untamed birds, from my experience I got a untamed Lovebird and he was quick and comfortable learner. They also can tell you the gender and their birds aren’t as pricey as other places my lovebird was 150 as another store wanted around 400-600 which was CRAZY! 100% go here!! And if it’s not for a bird go for supplies or even just to look at the birds they love the company!! And they also have exotic bird color options that are rare !

I bought 2 parrotlets from these amazing people at Finest Exotic Birds. They were very helpful and as a first time bird owner they gave me many tips and were able to tell me their genders and age. They went as far as to point me the right way to purchase the best food for them and have been answering any and every question i have about them. The birds are very healthy and have been adapting to their new home very well. I definitely recommend Finest Exotic Birds to anyone who is interested in owning any bird they have to offer. I have to mention i did get an amazing deal for these 2 and well if you visit the shop you might just receive one just as good if not better! Very reasonable prices as we all know beautiful birds like these can be pretty pricy. Im looking forward to stop by the shop soon as i am from out of town! Thank you !
