I have an Alaskan Malamute mix and have been working with Leah at Find Your Zen Dog Training for multiple years. My dog struggles with dog reactivity and has improved immensely since working with Leah. For example, by attending her social classes, where dogs interact in a controlled environment, my dog went from shutting down to playing with dogs, and has learned to walk away from uncomfortable situations before they escalate. Leah’s classes are some of the most fun and educational classes I’ve ever taken! She helps YOU build a foundation with your dog and teaches you to correct many undesirable behaviors. We enjoyed our Beginner Puppy course and sessions. I was able to put into practice what I learned from our Trainer Leah and saw good outcomes for my puppy. We still have lots to practice to do and need to continue to reinforce our lessons at home, but I feel better about basic commands and safety with our puppy. I valued her detailed lessons, dog behavioral insight, and patience. She was always willing to help and has lots of online resources. I highly recommend this dog training experience, and appreciated the honest feedback and hands-on training.

Our yellow lab, Stella, spent two weeks with Leah for board & train. Stella took the puppy training course and had some private sessions in 2021 but this 8 month old puppy was still a bit wild and jumpy. She was also not a respectful pup to other pups. It was very hard for her to just be chill, she was constantly pacing. Recall was rough. After her two weeks with Leah, we are all very surprised at how relaxed our pup is, she responds to her name and the counter surfing has mostly subsided. She doesn’t demand bark now and we are finding her super pleasant to be around. Thank you, Leah!!! We look forward to more sessions with you ?
