We adopted our boy Sanji (FKA Jack) from this rescue. He’s an absolute dream. We needed a dog who was friendly and social (as we have another small dog at home and I work at a dog daycare where they both would be frequently joining me) so that’s what we went looking for. He is exactly as they described him—cuddly, sweet, friendly, and genuinely wonderful. The process to adopt was very easy and thorough and every interaction that we had with the rescue was nothing short of pleasant. They gave us a voucher for his neuter upon us fostering-to-adopt, and that process was very simple, too. Once he was neutered, we signed the papers and officially welcomed him into our family. We also underwent 3 training sessions with him at their requirement to help him settle into our home and learn the basics and that was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this rescue. We love our boy and our first dog adores her brother❤️

These people know dogs and care about them. I found my soul dog here many years ago. She made me a better person and it's all thanks to these folx. Not only do they help rescue dogs in kill shelters around the West but they also carry high quality food and products. Thank you Farfels!!!

A bit overdue on this review, but we adopted our dog from Farfel’s this past February. The adoption process was very efficient and everyone we spoke with was so kind. You could tell they really care deeply about finding the right home for each dog.

Melvin has been such a wonderful addition to our little family and I truly cannot thank Farfel’s enough for bringing him into our lives. 🙂

EDIT: One star review was because owners don't have great people skills. There's better rescues out there. Support them, not this one. I was willing to adopt another dog and wondering if they had finished my application and looking at other reviews I have my concerns now.

Just adopted a sweet Puggle from their rescue. It was a great experience ❤️❤️ with great communication with the staff.

Update: After a few weeks we had to make the difficult decision to not continue with the adoption. The staff was kind and understanding with the desire for what's best for the dogs, and found her a new forever home. I am thankful for the experience and working with such good people.
