My family and I were really disappointed with our stay at this hotel. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, we didn’t feel welcomed. The only positive aspect of our visit was the complimentary breakfast, which was decent. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. The front desk staff was not forthcoming or honest when it came to resolving simple issues. The room itself was far below expectations, with stained blankets and curtains, as well as hair from a different color and texture found in the shower. Additionally, there were water stains on the showerhead, which made the overall experience feel unclean. The elevator was out of order during our stay, and no effort was made to compensate for the inconvenience. After being told it was fixed on the last night, we reluctantly tried it, only to find it had a strong odor and shook terribly. It was soon marked as “out of order” again the following morning. This hotel, which is only 8 years old, already looks and feels poorly maintained. As someone born and raised in this area, I’m genuinely appalled by how guests are treated here. Based on this experience, I would not recommend staying here.

My experience at this hotel was the worst I’ve ever had and the manager at the front desk made zero attempts to resolve the problem. I had to go to work the night before and I attempted to call the hotel multiple times to tell them to save the room. I called the hotel twice and let the phone ring many times and nobody answered. The next morning when I showed up the manager tells me that I will get charged for the room. However, my room is sold out and there’s no rooms. Now mind you at this time I hadn’t had any sleep more than 24 hours. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any hotel. The manager was rude and she made zero attempts to reconcile. I will never go back and I advise all others not to stay there.

At check-in was told elevator was not working. Other lady at desk corrected the newer lady and said they were fixed and we could use them. Got on and it went to 4th floor where our room was, did not open, started shaking its way back down and thankfully opened back up on first floor and we were able to get off. Had to use the stairs the full 3 days we were there. Our neighbor the first night was also banging around all night. Very noisy. This hotel is too expensive for what it was. Definitely disappointed in this Marriott.

Location is great halfway to Corpus one way and halfway to Port Aransas, right in the middle of both per say, easy to get to either or. The elevator was broken our whole stay, 4 days. The breakfast boiled eggs tasted like chemicals, but the rooms were the worst. We only noticed a day after check in our sheets and cover had major stains as they weren't washes our main cover had brown streaks of crummy something on them towards the bottom. We usually carry our of blankets and lysol wipes and spray we did what we could to keep the place keep during our stay. I sanitized the bathroom/ shower myself as I kept finding hairs and random red stains.

We were a little disappointed. The elevators didn't work and we were up on the 2nd floor. The breakfast was ok, their waffles had a weird texture to them. We considered leaving and going to stay on the beach for a similar amount of money. The room was decently run down had some clear patching being done. There was no water pressure in the shower or sink, so we painfully waited for the tub to fill, and are glad there was a tub or we would have left. We just sucked it up, but we won't ever stay here again. Marriotts/Fairfields have been our go to Everytime we travel for some time. But this was by far the most disappointing. Considering it's right by a beach town and maybe there's someone who doesn't want to be on the beach or is just stopping through, they need to step up their game. It's a night and day difference between here and the next hotel we stayed in, which should not be the case within the same brand. Good luck! Prime example of you get what you pay for 🤷

Horrible service from the Manager. The receptionist told me the manager told her the rooms were 99 dollars due to slow season and the manager told me she lied to me. The manager is very very rude, I would suggest that if you stay here check the rates before you stay . The rates change from one day to the next. This hotel will never get a penny more from me.once again the manager is ridiculously rude and will not work with the working people at all. Fairfield inn should definitely look into there management at this location

Is not what it used to be. We stayed two nights. Hotel has really gone downhill, rooms smelled strongly like mold, were dirty. We had to change rooms twice because of that. Manager instead of coming up to see what the issue was, she just sent a housekeeper to show me two more rooms. Unfortunately everything was paid for and didn’t want to go through the whole calling process, that’s why I didn’t just go elsewhere. Plus my kids were tired. Food was ok, not the buffet they used to have. Pool was ok, besides the expose wires right next to it and the sewer smell. Staff was friendly. But definitely not booking here again!

So my little family and I decided to get away from home and booked a stay at this Fairfield hotel. We must say! Service was the best Iv ever received in this area. Although the beds could be better but what the bed lacks the breakfast most certainly made up for it. Highly recommend this hotel for any family friendly guests who may wonder this direction " Best day ever."
