We absolutely love Angela!! I first met her through a friend when we got our puppy 7 years ago. I took him to her classes. He used to bark at every dog that went by and I had no idea how to train him. 7 years later, he is such an obedient dog, due to the training from her classes! He no longer barks at dogs, he listens to commands and she taught him commands I wouldn't have even thought about. With the skills she taught us, I even taught him how to ring a bell to go outside when he needs to potty or get fresh air (friends are always amazed by that!) When we go out of town, Angela is the only person I truly feel comfortable boarding my dog with. I never worry when he's with her. He gets more training while we are gone and gets lots of love and attention. I cannot recommend Angela and her business enough. She is professional, knowledgeable, caring and attentive. She's the best!!

I have trained dogs with other trainers but had some real issues with our bull terrier. I attended Angela's classes and she really helped us understand how to use some new tools and read the body language of our dog. We also have her come to our house to help with frantic dog during the fireworks season. She spent so much time training US and we had immediate results just like the dog whisper shows! 😉 Angela Truly has a gift with dogs and I would recommend her business to anyone!

I highly recommend Angela at Enlightened Canines. She is amazing she helped my family so much training our German Shepherd who had a high prey drive. She helped train Bella with indoor behaviors with my cats. Helped train her with my elderly mother who has disabilities as well as behaviors with our elderly dog. She was able to identify so many behaviors and showed us how to correct them as well as training us. We also recently boarded our dogs with her and it was fantastic. She sent me so many cute pictures of them, gave me updates and took excellent care of them. Her boarding facility is about 1hr from me but I will always board with her now versus the boarding facility that is literally down the street from me.

We adopted a bully from our local shelter and he was all sorts of crazy. The first day at training he was barking and going crazy! Angela asked if she could borrow him and corrected him and he stopped me and my husband were shocked at how fast she was able to correct his behavior. We trained with her for two years before moving and my dog is the best well behaved pitty! we get compliments all the time about how amazing his manners are and how well he listens. I know for a fact if we hadn’t taken him to training it would a whole different story! We are so thankful to have found a trainer like Angela who truly cares about both the family and the dogs and will help any way she can! I will Always recommend Enlightened Canines because of how truly amazing they are!!!

Angela has been my "go to" person for help with my dogs, especially my new fosters if they have issues. She has excellent ideas and have learned from her and the dogs do great (I used to train obedience, and ways have really changed with different techniques). I also have referred others to her for training and also boarding at her new kennel and the feedback has been great too.

Angela taught me every thing I know about dogs, their behavior, their needs and how to train them CORRECTLY. I cannot say enough about Angela’s knowledge and level of expertise. We absolutely love Enlightened Canines, I wouldn’t trust my two fur babies with any one else. I’ve used them for training and boarding. I recommend them to everyone I know. When I leave for vacation I have such peace of mind that my girls are going to be safe and have just as much fun as me.
