We have used the Dutch Pet Motel many times over the past 4 years. The first time we used them we brought in a puppy. Now we have added a rescue dog and they are both 5 years old. Our dogs are highly energetic and reactive… cattle dogs! (Blue heeler and heeler mix)
The staff knows our dogs and their behaviors. They cater to our dogs needs and are understanding of their breed. Whenever we drop them off we know Adam and his staff will take great care of them- even when they are stubborn and bonkers. 😅
Adam is always honest with their behavior report, which we appreciate. We know they get enough outdoor time to burn off some energy and plenty of attention.
We couldn’t imagine boarding them anywhere else.

Our dog has a few medical/emotional issues and I wasn't sure how she would do with boarding. Adam did an amazing job with her. I absolutely love the way he interacts with the dogs and personalizes their care. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Adam is the best. We have had 3 Great Pyrenees dogs, and boarded them with Dutch Pet Motel for many years! Our dogs actually want to go there. They get excited when we pull into the parking lot!

We needed a place for our giant, reactive St. Bernard to stay during our family vacation. Most boarding places refused to take him, but Adam decided to give him a chance. We did an overnight trial before the actual vacation so our dog could warm up to his environment. Adam was great about reading our dog's cues and our nervous dog quickly became friends with him, even though he doesn't like most men. We are truly grateful for the care that our dog received and I highly recommend The Dutch Pet Motel!

We boarded our Saint Bernard there for the weekend early Monday morning we got a call to come there right away. When we arrived Adam was concerned with our dogs health he had started puking up stomach bile. Adam than told us about bloat, where large dogs stomachs flip and twist. He suggested we have him checked out. Which we did and thank god we because Adam was right. Our dog made it through surgery and is recovering. Adam saved our dogs life!! This was the second time we boarded our dog with Adam and we will continue to board there. It is a great place and Adam is the best!

Just brought my dog (a lab mix) age 14+ home from the Dutch Pet Motel after 5 days.
This is a country setting, certainly not fancy or sterile, although it was quite clean, a relaxed yet organized space for my dog. He strolled around freely at first to get comfortable. He walked through outside areas tail wagging. Staff did not wear uniforms, nothing smelled like chemicals, my dog was happy and related comfortably to Adam who gave me a report and knew my dog well. I was well pleased and certainly thankful.

Once again our dog had a wonderful time with Adam at the Dutch Pet Motel. Even with the dangerously cold weather that limited outside play time, our pup came home super happy and healthy. Over the years we have boarded our dogs here many times and every time we pick them up you can tell they had a blast and were so well taken care of. It's so rare to find a facility that I feel completely confident that my dog is safe and happy, but Dutch Pet Motel gives us that experience every single time. Adam truly has a passion for dogs and treats every dog as if they were his own. He really takes the time to get to know their needs and preferences and is very willing to work with any special needs your pet may have. Our dog can be pretty shy at first but now that he has been boarded here a few times, he is so excited to go and see Adam. I recommend using this facility even if it's a bit of a drive for you because the piece of mind, service and experience is well worth it.

We boarded our 7 month old pup for 7 nights. I have never boarded a dog for this long before but we had circumstances we couldn't work around. He was great with communication. I wasn't sure what to expect but our dog came home just as we had dropped her off. Happy and healthy! It's very clear Adam cares a lot about the dogs he has in his care and knows how to protect and keep them safe and happy.
