I can't say enough of good things about Dorothy pet store. The animals here are so happy and well taken care of. They truly give back so much! I got my baby here and such a happy healthy goof ball. My family wouldn't be the same without him. It's a blessing to have a local store I can go to for healthy pet food, toys, treats, advice and supplies. Thank you for everything.

Wonderful shop.
I always prefer to go to a small place like this over a corporation any day but this one was especially exceptional. The helper cats there were very kind and polite they helped me find what I needed. The dogs in the windows made sure that my experience there was overflowing with cheer. Oh and the human was very knowledgeable and helped me figure out what I needed to feed my new ball python.
They have quite a variety of other animals and products and I plan to go back and give it a better look when I'm not in a hurry as I was during this visit.
I will certainly be recommending this shop to everyone I meet that has animal needs.

Dorothy and her son or son in law love animals, and know animals. I've came multiple times now and got several fish etc. Their fish are better that petco's fish too. She's state licensed as well so don't believe in propaganda against her or this shop. The animals are well taken care of, and she's very helpful and filled with knowledge. One of the kindest people I've got to cross paths with. I'm pleased and will return over and over when necessary.

Dorothy got me my fur baby "Dex" too. So thankful for this shop and her honest genuine kindness. I always return.

By the way, its a PET SHOP, it's not going to smell like roses for the pea sized brains out here that criticize the shop about its smell. Key words: PET SHOP.

I went in to get some stuff for my pets not knowing that it was a pet store, I should have looked more into it that’s on me. I saw animals locked in cages as you’d expect but it makes my heart so sad, I went to the back and saw a big dog in a cage staring at me with sad eyes and a cat meowing really loud to get out and I broke down.. I want to know that they get to go to a happy home every night and they’re not stuck there 24/7. The smell was awful as soon as I walked in and the store felt very crowded. The fish were in very small containers, no fish tank.. I want justice for these animals. It breaks my heart how people can do this to animals just for money. I will pray for those animals, it’s not right.

The lady that was working was ALWAYS friendly, helpful, creative, and understanding.

I shopped various times for various things. On the rare occasion I didn’t find what I needed nobody had it.

While there is a smell when you immediately walk into the door you can see immediately to your right puppies and kittens in the back. I just struck the smell up to babies that haven’t been potty trained.

Things could be presented better, but I think ultimately a bigger place with more shelving would be ideal.

I will miss the lady dearly. While she was allergic to birds she was always there with a smile and I showed her mine and she was excited for updates along their egg journey.

The smell is pretty horrendous and there was one time we went and there was like 20-25 kittens piled into a small cage. They have levels for the cage but with the food bowls and litter boxes they had in there, it's definitely not enough space at all for how many cats there are. Another thing is there Beta fish like 20 or so in tiny containers stacked on top of eachother on a shelf and barely look alive. The dogs are entirely too expensive for how they are living and the place they are being bought from.

After 2 foot into the store the smell is atrocious! You can't breathe without your nose burning. I don't know how people can shop in there and not get sick!
