Nothing but positive things to say about John!!! We are so grateful we found dogtownk9care. We had just adopted a new dog, Miso, from he Riverside shelter. She was very shy in the beginning but we were having difficulty training her. She would have accidents in the home, would not obey any commands, and would destroy most items in my home.

Before I met John, I had a consult with a different training company in OC but they wanted to charge $5000 for essentially the same training. I was so fortunate to find John's business!! Paid less than half the price and Miso is a completely different dog. She's well behaved, crate trained, walks well on the leash, and never has accidents. We opted for the board and train option. I was so frustrated with dog training and had been thinking about rehoming her. She was away with John and his daughter for 2 weeks and we are impressed with how much she's changed in a small amount of time. We received pictures of Miso every so often.

John was very easy to communicate with. At the end of the 2 weeks, John showed us the how to handle Miso. We are so grateful and have been recommending John to all our friends (: Highly recommend!!

I cannot thank John and his daughter enough for all their help with our dog, Nellie. We adopted her when she was almost 7 months old and had her for the next two months trying to train her since the only thing she really knew was the word “no” when we got her. She was kept outside in a small pen before we adopted her and so she was not potty trained, did not know her name, would pee if she was nervous or excited, did not know how to walk on a leash, and would drool excessively followed by throwing up in the car after 10 minutes of driving.
I reached out to John for help on short notice and he was able to accommodate for us since we were headed out of town which he did not have to do but I was extremely grateful for. John and his daughter took her in for their two week board and train program and she came back so much more confident. She does not get her nervous/excited pee anymore, she goes potty in the grass like she is supposed to, she walks so much better on leash and learned some new commands, and she is doing amazing in car rides! We just took her on a 6 hour drive and 4 hour drive this past weekend and she didn’t even drool. If you’re looking for someone to help take care of your pet and train them, our family highly recommends John!
