Timothy came to the rescue when I needed help with my highly reactive pup. I love to walk and hike but with my dog pulling and barking every time he sees another dog was taking a toll on me. It was down right embarrassing. I contacted couple of other well know trainers in South Bay but I never heard back from either of them and after desperately searching, I found Tim on Yelp. He responded right away which was so amazing and we met for an evaluation session right away. Timothy carefully listened to all the issues I had with my 5 year old cocker spaniel rescue and helped me correct his behaviors. We completed 9 lessons so far and walking him is a lot easier; he also finally played at the local dog park and had a blast. We still have a few lessons left to fine tune some of his other issues but so far the difference in him has been night and day. If you and your pup need help, Timothy is your guy.

We adopted a one year old dog from the animal shelter and it appeared that the dog had no training and no concepts of boundaries. We spent several weeks trying to work with her by ourselves, but we decided to get professional training since we were not making any progress.

Scheduling with Tim at was easy through the website. The evaluation consisted of discussing all of our concerns and what we wanted to work on in training and then we jumped in to some new skills we can use with our dog.

We have completed 8 training sessions our dog made huge improvements. The first two trainings were at and around our home, working on loose leash walking (our dog was a puller) and a bit of socialization and resource guarding. The last six trainings were in different locations where our dog would get exposure to other dogs since this was the biggest concern we had. Our dog gets overly excited when she sees other dogs and she sometimes lunges, whines, growls, and screams when she sees other dogs.

In each session, Tim asked if we had any concerns that we wanted to address other than what was planned for the day and for an update on how our week went. We appreciate that he gave us tips on how to address minor concerns on our own and they have been a huge help for us! We also like that if we tried something for a time and we feel like we haven't made progress, he gave us a different technique to try.

Tim was always patient with our never-ending questions and when we aren't following the technique he taught us.

Tim is great! He has helped us work through basic commands, anxiety, leash manners and recently aggression towards other dogs. His sessions helped train both the dog and the humans. He gives you tools to start working with right away and sessions are followed up with written instructions in email as well. Anytime a friend asks for a dog trainer, I send them to Tim!

Tim, being highly knowledgeable, equipped me with excellent tools for training my 8-week-old pup. My puppy encountered challenges with food aggression and mastering basic commands. To reach our training goals, we held sessions at local parks and conducted in-home training. Our training regimen included off-leash walking, teaching fundamental commands, socialization, and addressing food aggression. Tim also offered valuable recommendations on acclimating my dog to social settings, particularly as I grappled with her tendency to jump on everyone who walked by. Now, my pup is 3 years old, and without Tim's guidance, I would feel lost with my crazy corgi!

He was wonderful to work with when our dog was a new puppy, teaching us all the skills to help carry over everything he taught in our sessions with our puppy. As our dog got older, some different challenges popped up, and Timothy has been *amazing* at helping us overcome these different hurdles, from our dog lunging at squirrels and other dogs on walks, to developing anxiety in our kitchen. Tim doesn't use a cookie-cutter approach. He uses evidence-based techniques and thoughtfully-individualized plans to tackle pretty much any issue.
