Totally blew me away! LOVED it! my niece and her beloved pup have a membership. I'll admit I was a skeptic, however it was like walking into the wonderful world of Oz!!! If they had a park in San Diego, I would get a membership. And we don't have a dog!

I’m an anxious dog mom who was very anti-dog parks but absolutely loved my experience at Dog PPL. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, the place is very clean and well kept, there’s a great set up and lots of shaded seating. I love that no toys or treats are allowed because my dogs have always gotten attacked at traditional dog parks and I’m glad I don’t have to worry about that here. The rufferees are also a huge plus and are very on top of managing play when it gets too rough. The cofounder Liam is extremely nice and took the time to meet my dogs as well as mingle with other dog parents. I love how the staff basically knows all the dogs names, you can tell they genuinely care about your dogs and building a relationship with them! I also got a drink from their bar and it tasted great. This checks all my boxes as a crazy dog parent and we absolutely can’t wait to go back! 😊

We've been members at Dog PPL for 9 months—and it has become a second home.

The park is clean, safe, fun, and has an amazing community — humans and otherwise.

Our dog (a rescue/shelter pup with anxiety) absolutely loves it and looks forward to it every day. I bring her 5-6 times a week while I'm working, on the weekends to read, etc. It is an AMAZING place to socialize your dog—and to socialize *with* your dog.

Like some, we were skeptical of the price at first (since we took her to the public park 4-6 times a week). Fast-forward 9 months: We wish we had found this community sooner.

The PPL (staff, rufferees (!) , front desk, founders, community) are wonderful. They're accommodating, eager to hear suggestions, and prioritize the pups' experience and safety above all else.

Personally, I've made lots of friends (yep, humans and otherwise!), and it's genuinely somewhere that my pup and I both look forward to every single day.

I can't recommend it highly enough if you work from home, want to meet like-minded people, and/or give your pup a place to socialize while you relax or answer emails.

My only fear is that too many people will join and we won't be able to come-and-go anytime we please!😅

We love dogppl! From the various member mingles and events to the incredible staff, we cannot recommend dogppl enough.

Our dog mainly likes to sit next to us at the park rather than play with other dogs but since we live in an apartment, it’s nice to get all of us outside for a couple hours a day. We say it’s sometimes for more us than our dog.

My partner and I also like to work remote during the week from dogppl which is extremely convenient. We also love the coffee/espresso bar options as well as the convenient food.

The staff provides truly everything you need including poop bags, hand sanitizer, sunscreen (both for dogs & humans), tons of shade for when it’s sunny, blankets for when it’s cold, and so much more.

I've been a proud Dog PPL member since they opened their first location. Going to the park is the highlight of my day. It’s a great way for my dog to get exercise since walking is not enough for her. While she gets her workout, I relax and read my book or socialize and meet other dog lovers. Even friends who don’t have dogs will meet me there because it’s a great place to hang out. The true highlight is the positive energy that permeates the space. The staff "rufferees” demonstrate genuine love and care for the dogs and the park owners are so friendly. My membership has been more than worth it for me and my pup.

One of my favorite places in Santa Monica! If you have a dog, you absolutely need to be coming here.

My partner and I have been going to DOG PPL for about a year now and are so grateful for the space it is. The dogs get a chance to run around while we can work/chat about life.

The staff are some of the kindest people you will ever meet and the Rufferees are incredibly talented and will def take care of your dog.

Also have to give a shoutout to the bar/coffee shop because they have some of the best drinks. My boyfriend always gets the iced tea with lemon and I always get the iced matcha with lavender and pistachio milk. I really recommend both and trying the other drinks they have to offer.

Once again, really can’t recommend this place enough and am grateful for the space it’s been for us!

I have heard folks make derisive jokes about DOG PPL. I think these folks may not understand what a fantastic place this is for people and the dogs they love. Most public dog parks in these parts are poorly kept, often overrun by dog walkers or owners who aren’t paying attention to their dogs, and the dogs have unknown temperaments and vaccination statuses. At DOG PPL, all dogs must be vaccinated, all dogs undergo a temperament test, staff are on hand and alert if any dogs start acting out, the location is clean, well-kept, and hospitable to people and dogs alike. It is absolutely worth the membership fee for the peace of mind that my dog will be safe while still having the most amazing time. It’s her favorite place in the world. It’s her Disneyland. It is a joy to see her so happy. That, to me, is priceless. Bonus: DOG PPL offers refreshments, events, and activities for folks to enjoy alongside their dogs.

The world needs more third places and DOG PPL is an awesome one.
