We’re very grateful to Nate for helping us with our new rescue dog Nyla. She’s a great dog but was very reactive when encountering other dogs. I tried different online training programs but none worked.

When we initially met with Nate, he asked lots of questions and took the time to understand our situation, our challenges, and what we were hoping to achieve. He recommended specific tools and high value treats, then taught us a series of techniques to manage and help overcome her reactivity. During each of our sessions he was focused on, professional, and passionate about helping us achieve our goals. In between sessions he would reach out for updates and offer suggestions.

We’ve made huge progress with Nyla thanks to Nate. We highly recommend him.

Nate is an incredible trainer and great to work with. He has a wealth of knowledge and it felt like he always gave such a thorough explanation behind his strategy and training. Our dog Willow has come such a long way in terms of her leash training, general obedience, and reactivity with other dogs. Nate helped us lay such a great foundation with her and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Thank you Nate!!!

Nate is a wonderful trainer. He started helping me and my pup when she was 4 months. She is now 9 months old. She has developed into a great companion dog and I am grateful for his help. I would highly recommend Nate for your training needs.

Nate is an incredible trainer. He has patiently worked with our dog Luna, a 3 year old cattle mix with severe leash reactivity when we adopted her. Nate started me and my daughter through elementary steps for heal and sit commands as well as practical advice on food and accessories. We have progressed to e-collar training and Luna has become very well behaved. In just the last week, Luna has completely stopped reacting to other dogs on leash which is a huge improvement from where we started. I would recommend anyone who has recently adopted a dog or any pup/owner duo who needs some help to contact Nate immediately. Nate is clear, consistent, and kind. He is also one of the funniest humans you will meet which makes training sessions very enjoyable. Thank you, Nate!

We worked with a bunch of different trainers and tried a lot of different classes. Nobody was able to help much with our dogs anxiety much except Nate. He has a deep understanding of trauma in dogs and what it takes to build healthy and solid relationship with them. I also love that Nate cares more about the dogs happiness than anything else. Five stars!

Nate worked with our mini golden doodle and did wonders for her. She went from being hectic and not listening , pulling on leash and jumping on strangers to a well behaved dog and even off leash dog. Highly recommend anyone looking for a great trainer and Nate also a really nice guy.

Where to begin? At the end of February 2024, I moved to Los Angeles with my 10-year-old lab mix, Leia, and my 1.5-year-old Australian Kelpie, Kylo. The move was a huge change for Kylo, who had limited leash experience and would bark at neighbors and other dogs. In LA, this behavior intensified due to the high population of people and their pets. It was almost impossible to be around any other people or dogs with Kylo, and I had to go out at odd hours just to potty him. Additionally, Kylo would often bark and react to various goings-on in the apartment.

I chose Nate as our trainer because it seemed like he had a thorough understanding of working breeds and the issues at play, and because it was clear he genuinely cared about the well being and happiness of dogs and their people. Nate was meticulous in working with both Kylo and myself, ensuring that both of us understood what was being taught. Nate's understanding of how to work with Kylo, combined with a clear understanding of my own situation and challenges, was invaluable in solving my problems.

Kylo went from reacting strongly to other dogs to calmly walking through busy areas like downtown Culver. He also stopped barking for attention at home and no longer hassled Leia. By May, Kylo mastered sitting on walks and reacted calmly to dogs passing by. Thanks to Nate's expertise, Kylo transformed completely. He now enjoys walks, sits calmly in the car, and remains composed around other dogs. Our life in the city has become enjoyable. Nate's guidance has been invaluable, and I couldn't be happier with the results!

Nate Lieberman... what a guy! We brought our 4 month old Belgian Malinois (Jett) to Nate because he was beginning to show signs of reactivity towards people and other dogs, regardless of distance. Forget everything you think you know about dog behavior and training, and let Nate take the ropes.. or leash in this case! Even after our in person training sessions were completed, Nate constantly checks in on us and offers as much help as he can to continue our training. Be ready to commit to this lifestyle of training because you will quickly realize the more work you put in, the better the outcome will be! We still have much work to do with our now 9 month old devil child, however he has progressed TREMENDOUSLY, all because of Nate’s exquisite teaching and ability to adapt training based on Jett’s response. Anyways, what else would you expect from a Belgian Malinois!
