Laurie, Shay, Adam and Sally are the best. Our family has had dogs for 25 years but when we brought our 9 month old 50 # and growing, golden doodle - Sami- to Dog Days we were at the end of our rope. I was ready to send him away. Laurie and her team spent 1-2 hours with the initial consultation and we learned SO much in that one afternoon. Sami had an initial 3 week board and train stay. It was night and day when we picked him up. Sami was happy, following commands, and we had another 1+ hour training session with the team. We left with a clear plan for home. We continue with classes with Adam and Shay on site and use Dog Days as a kennel when we are traveling. The facility is beautiful and the care is spectacular. Sami loves "camp" at Dog Days. We are now well on the way to having the family dog that we hoped for. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Every part of working with Dog Days Training Center has been amazing. Our pup Freya was identified as a shy/nervous pup. (At her first session she wouldn't go near another dog she was so scared). Through working with DDTC we were able to socialize her the RIGHT way and she really came out of her shell. She still gets overstimulated at times but she's no longer fearful of everything. Beyond that DDTC has helped us through the basics: house training, commands, keeping her engaged and not destructive as we enter adolescents.

We did a combination of private lessons and their board and train program. My only disappointment is that they aren't running puppy classes because of COVID.

We had found them through a family recommendation who had two dogs go through their programs (two of the best dogs I've ever known).

I cannot recommend them enough. As long as we have dogs we'll be DDTC customers.

We were lucky enough to be introduced to Laurie 15 years ago. She trained our first puppy, and we are now back with her for our second! I would never, ever consider sending our pets anywhere else. Laurie and her crew have a deep understanding of dogs and their behavior- it is truly magical what they accomplish. You get full-spectrum service at Dog Days...the whole family is involved in the training and education process. Laurie has an impressive background with canines that extends far beyond board and train. She cares deeply about all of the dogs who stay with her, and her dedication to keeping both animals and people safe and healthy through her process truly sets her apart. I tell everyone I know with a dog (young or old!) about Dog Days!

My 1 1/2 year old Labradoodle pup, Pip, has been going to Dog Days for board & train and puppy classes since she was about four months old. Laurie, Sally, and Adam are fabulous trainers (focused very much on trainer us as much as the dogs!) who really care about the dogs. Pip absolutely loves her board & train time and always comes home looking like she has had "BIG" fun, as Laurie says! Dog Days is the first place I call when I know I am going out of town as I know Pip will be well cared for while working on her manners 😉 and having a good romp with other dogs. Pip and I have learned a ton from Laurie and team, and I'm grateful for their guidance and support. They really understand my dog, and I know I can always reach out to them with questions. I have a feeling Pip and I will have a long term relationship with Laurie, Sally, and Adam!

Where do I even begin with how AMAZING Dog Days training is. If you are looking to get your puppy or dog trained, I highly recommend Dog Days. Laurie, Adam, Sally and the rest of the training team are incredible! Their vast knowledge and experience truly shows by what they teach the dog, and most importantly, the owners.

We got our lab puppy at 8 weeks old and quickly realized we were in for more than we could handle, especially having two other dogs at home. I was in tears almost daily with frustration with controlling the puppy. We had our puppy evaluated by Dog Days and he then entered their training program which began with a 3 week stay at the board and train. Even at the evaluation, Laurie and Adam gave excellent tips on how to begin training and teaching our puppy how to live in our world and be in tune with us as his owners. It is clear that the trainers are well educated and care about the dogs and take pride in what they do. Their positive-reinforcement techniques are wonderful.

We took our puppy to board and train around 4 months old, and he came back almost a new dog! It is worth every penny! He listened much better and overall was much more controllable. The work they do with your dog and how much they care about them is truly indescribable. The passion they have to make sure your dog is able to be a good dog-citizen with other dogs and around humans is incredible.

We have since taken our dog back a few times for 4-5 day boarding/training sessions and we are pleased every time our pup comes back from training. We are very consistent in keeping up with the training program at home and it has paid off tremendously. Plus, our dog LOVES to go to “camp” and especially likes to swim in their lake! We highly recommend Dog Days and will continue to take our pup there for ongoing training and boarding.

We recently added a new member to our pack. We weren't sure how our Cavalier, (the original baby,) would respond to our new addition. With the expert guidance from Adam of Dog Days, we were able to set her up for success in managing the changes a new baby brings to the home environment. She had some challenges in walking nicely next to the stroller and he expertly guided us in the types of exercises we needed to practice in order for her to become comfortable walking. I am happy to say she is now walking happily next to the stroller and has decided she is on call at all times when I cannot be. Highly recommend Dog Days and their whole crew in any and all dog needs!

Dog Days is the best of the best! 3 of my dogs have been through the program and I wouldn't consider anyone else to help me train and care for my dogs. Additionally, my friends and family have been so impressed with my dogs' manners, that they have taken their dogs to Laurie for training as well. From board and train, to group lessons, to one-on-one's, the methodology is no nonsense and tried and true - this program works as long as you listen and practice what they preach. I have learned so much from Laurie and her staff over the years. Laurie is the utmost professional who knows, understands and cares extensively about the success of the dog and the family. My dogs are incredibly well-behaved on and off leash, and have excellent manners in our home and out in public. When my daughters were young and we welcomed our first Bernese Mtn Dog into our family, I knew I needed to have an incredibly well trained dog that would not jump on, bark or scare not only my own daughters, but friends and family too. Ensuring that Laurie's program was started with my dogs at an early age provided them with an excellent foundation to thrive in life.
