We enrolled in Destination Pet 1.5 years ago for our dog. The first year was great! Our local vet and daycare facility has been wonderful. The last 4 months have been nothing short of customer neglect. They notified us one day that our vet was closing for "10 days" and that we could travel 30+ miles to see a partner vet. I've been asking for monthly for re-opening updates and have had ZERO response. I've placed 2 phone calls to company with ZERO response as well. This is unacceptable.

An organization named "Yourgi" associated with this address is sending out unwanted e-mail SPAM to people with no clear business relationship with either "Yourgi" or "Destination Pet". If the owners of Destination Pet are spamming people under an alternate business name then it would be appreciated if they stop, and if they aren't then they should know that someone else is using their info to send out spam and annoy people.

I took my dog to a dog daycare that was purchased by Destination Pet. The daycare facility and staff were amazing and my dog went there regularly for over 3 years. Then, without warning, Destination Pet put new rules in place. After all that time my dog couldn't be with her regular play group because she weigs less than 40 lbs. Worse,she would be crated for up to half of the day which is counterintuitive to the reason I took her there in the first place. I tried ti reach out to Destination Pet, but never responded to multiple contacts. They ruined my beloved doggy daycare.

The decision to sale your business is not one to take lightly and I can strongly say that Destination Pet really made the process simple. I sold my pet resort to Destination Pet after thoroughly researching the different options for sellers in the industry. The acquisition process was very detailed and professional and they honored all of the specifics that we agreed on in the letter of intent. The transition went very smooth and our customers and employees barley noticed a difference in the ownership change.

Being part of Destination Pet has been a huge benefit for my former team, especially during 2020. We had a large staff that became eligible for health, dental and other benefits that were not feasible as a locally owned small company. Also it has provided a career path for people that was not available as a single location.

Overall a great experience, if you are thinking of selling you should definitely talk to these folks.

Destination Pet called my company to do some IT work for them. I sent a tech onsite, and he worked all day setting up computers, printers, WIFI, etc. For no reason, Destination Pet decide not to pay for our services, no communication, no reason, just refused to pay our bill. Colo. based company using a local (Lincoln, NE) company and not paying the bill. Now we have to send to collection.

Destination Pet is changing the landscape for pet care in the United States. My dog has visited a few of their locations and have had positive experiences with each one. The employees seem to truly care and are responsive to inquiries or questions I have for boarding / vet.

Destination Pet buys daycares with great reputations and completely ruins them. They now own The Dog Spot in Boulder. My dogs, who had gone there for many years, started shaking and hiding when it was time to go. I heard employees yelling at dogs, and the place was no longer clean. It went from a safe and enriching environment to one that is neither safe nor fun for dogs. Avoid at all costs.
